Don't recommend for winter, unreliable parking and unhelpful customer service.

The proximity to the lake is wonderful, and we loved that we could bring our dog.

Sadly Vacasa in Truckee has terrible customer service. We stayed during a snow storm and when we got home after a day of skiing the parking area was not plowed. When I called for help the Manager I talked to told me that the property didn't actually have a parking spot during the winter and that it was just a shoulder of the road. I told her there was a plowed area across the street that said "no parking" and asked if they would pay if we got a parking ticket and she replied "no". She offered no solutions for our parking issue, and said "Isn't it your last night anyways?". I would have never booked a cabin that doesn't have parking. I am also very disappointed in the customer service.

Perfect location

Beautiful view of lake. Just walk across the street and you are at the shore!!

Vacuum and broom stored in bedroom that was already small. Could not find outdoor trash bin. Called and they were very sweet and gave instructions
