De gastvrijheid was ongekend, de gastheer was ons echt aan het ontzorgen. De gastheer heeft voor ons volledig een bezoek aan het wildpark Wilpattu geregeld.Hij heeft ons daar persoonlijk gebracht, we hadden een ontbijt en lunchpakket meegekregen. De Locatie is op een prachtige plek met een hele mooie rustgevende tuin. We hebben ontbijt, lunch en diner , dit alles was prima met liefde bereid. De gastheer kon veel vertellen over de omgeving en geschiedenis.

Er was geen WiFi, maar eigenlijk was dit ook geen gemis.

Great stay at Thillan’s in this very charming family homestay. The rooms are well equipped and clean, the local food is excellent, and the location is very convenient for visiting the main sights of Anuradhapura. Thank you!

Owner are very helpul and friendly. We had an excellent typical sri lankan dinner. Room are good for the price. Located in the middle of the old city.

The owner was very friendly. The place is quiet in a jungle.

The room had no toilet paper, no blankets, no soap, no trash bins, no towels (we got one for two people but we had to ask for it). The main room was clean but the washroom wasn't. It needed a good scrub. The sink, walls and toilet were dirty. Dinner was a bit bland and expensive. One of the orders was supposed to be curry and rice and I got kottu instead which lucky I didn't have to pay for because that wasn't what I asked for. My boyfriend was blamed for it as he was the one who communicated to the owner. Breakfast tasted good but it was very small compared to other places we stayed at where the breakfast was served. Overall not a good value for money and if we knew it we would've stayed somewhere else. There were many cheaper places in Sri Lanka that were much cheaper and much better. I hope this place improves.
