Nice house but our stay could have been better

The house is perfectly suited for a chilled summer vacation. I do not recommend to book stays in the winter season, anyway I would return in July/August as the stated problems do only apply during winter.

It is truly unacceptable that guests have to turn on the heating upon arrival. We had a booking at the end of December which meant that the temperature in the first night was from 9-13 degrees. This policy needs to be changed! You can’t rent a cold vacation house in December! The hosts require a 150 Euro deposit to their private bank account before arrival. It was returned immediately after arrival so there were no problems, anyway I do not think that Booking.com does allow payments outside their platform. Even though in the end there were no problems and the deposit has been refunded, I felt uncomfortable with doing a bank transfer to a private bank account. The kitchen has not been cleaned properly before our arrival.

The only things I would say was that you have to take your bedding and clean the property, be prepared and it’s not a problem no complaining for what we paid and what good location was.

Belle petite maison bien équipée

Petite maison très fonctionnelle, assez grande pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Petit jardin agréable et espace de jeux sympa et sécurisé à proximité.

Comfortabel verblijf op een goede locatie

Vooraf uitgebreide informatie gekregen van de eigenaar hoe de sleutel uit het kluisje kon en wat er in de omgeving te doen was. Het huisje ligt op een goede, zeer rustige locatie en niet ver van het strand van Oostduinkerke-Bad. Alles is aanwezig in het huis en voor 4 personen zeker genoeg ruimte. Er waren zelf fietsen aanwezig die je kunt gebruiken. Het is ook een prima locatie om Plopsaland De Panne te bezoeken.

Correct mais pour une seule nuit

À 3km de la mer avec une chouette ballade pour y accéder apporte un plus à cette petite maison. L’espace jeux extérieur permet aux enfants de jouer librement en sécurité car par de voiture.

La propreté des lieux laisse vraiment à désirer. La douche jaune et bouchée ne permet pas de se laver correctement sans inonder le couloir ce qui pause vraiment des soucis avec des enfants en bas âge. Les portes qui coulissent laisse un jour apparent ne permettant aucune intimité et laisse passer tout le bruit.
