The most traditional place on our via transilvanica. Amazing house, host and dog. I would have stayed there longer, cycling from Biertan to Richis on Via was also my favourite part of the trip. Will get back for sure

Staying in Richisu at Casa Arthur was like stepping back into another era. I love old farm houses and Ana's restoration was the perfect setting. She knows her history and clearly cares to impart her knowledge (excellent English) about the region. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet all night - no barking dogs or roosters at daybreak. Ana had some shoulder-season time available to tour me around the area to lesser-known valleys and restaurants. I wish I could have stayed longer.
