A Memorable Experien1ce in September 2025

We spent a few wonderful days at Mint Retreat Suites in September, and I can honestly say it was a perfect choice for our vacation. The peace and atmosphere are the first things that captivate you at this property. Away from the tourist hustle, the accommodation offers exactly what you need to truly relax. The pool is a dream – clean, well-maintained, and with enough space to enjoy the sun without feeling crowded. We spent hours here, relaxing and admiring the surroundings. The cleanliness is impeccable, both in the room and in all common areas. You can see the care with which everything is maintained daily. The hosts deserve a special mention – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any recommendation or need. You truly feel welcome and appreciated. The view is spectacular! You can't help but wake up with a smile on your face when you look out the window every morning. Conclusion: Mint Retreat Suites is an accommodation I warmly recommend to everyone – whether you're coming as a couple for a romantic getaway, with family for relaxation, or with friends. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty of Kalandra. We will definitely be back!

Splendid accomodation !

Words will not do justice to our experience at Mint Retreat Suites, which was perfect on so many levels. The resort is a secluded place on a hill, surrouded by olive trees overlooking the sea in the distance, hence an immediate sense of privateness and serenity. We were greeted by Apostolos, who took us on a tour around the resort, explained to us everything one can explore in the surrounding area and was kind and patient enough to answer to all our questions. He also offered to help with restaurant and beach bar reservations. The staff was also very polite, modest, congenial and welcoming. During our stay we had breakfast at the property which was excellent: good quality ingredients, organic and everything homemade, including the olive oil which is produced. We had a really amazing stay, there were a few hickups but not anything serious enough to downgrade the perfect rating.

Everything is beautiful and really peaceful. The facilities are really well kept! The Olive oil they produce and sell is amazing! We really liked the pool area which is perfect for sun taning and swimming. There are not too many guests so even if everybody comes to the pool it still feals private and peaceful.

I had issues with doing some work on hotel wi-fi which they couldn’t fix so I had to use my mobile network. The issue was probably some settings for the firewall where some sites were blocked so all social networks and streaming services worked, only some specialized sites didn’t work for me. Maybe the prices are a bit high in the pool bar, but it is not outrageous…

Cute, quite and ideal for a relaxing vacation

Great location near Kalandra. Perfect for those seeking for a place to relax and enjoy the summer evenings surrounded by olive trees. Clean, comfortable and spacious suite just enough for a couple.

Parking lot is only half covered. Having all the parking spaces covered would be just what’s needed during long sunny days.

Far from crowds and noise, in a beautiful olive grove. A perfect combination of nature and luxury. If you want a vacation with high comfort while being surrounded by nature, this is the place!

Amazing place and stunning view

We had an amazing stay. the place exceeded our expectations with its beauty , it is very well maintained and offers an absolutely stunning view on the valley and the sea. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The room is nice and spacious and the pool area is beautiful. We really enjoyed this place and will definitely recommend and cannot wait to visit again.

Beautiful location

The location up hill is beautiful, very peaceful and ideal to unwind. Spacious rooms and nice area to sit outside.

The humidity in our room was bad, caused by a leaking airco. Eventually we got dehumidifier which made it a bit better. Pool is beautiful but could be cleaned a bit better? During the day it got full of insects at the bottom.

A serene gem among olive trees

The suits are located on a vast piece of land surrounded by a field of olive trees. Isolated, peaceful and serene, the place is ideal for a proper rest and a good sleep. The beds and pillows are super comfortable and the suits are kept clean and sustainable. The pool is also lovely and maintained. The host Apostolos is extremely kind, friendly and hospitable.

Would have been nice to have some coffee and tea in addition to the coffee machine. The breakfast was a little disappointing compared to everything else, so better bring your own food since there is a small kitchentte with amenities.

A perfect place for adults couple!

Almost everything! The place (even is on a hill, the place has a beautiful garden) and all houses have an amazing view to the Poseidi Golf and Skala Fourka The terrace is spacious and with a beautiful site seeing to the garden (separated for intimacy from the other apartments) In house you have everything you need (you could choose to take breakfast or to cook by yourself) The bed and pillows are very comfortable Everyday the housekeeper will clean the interior of house and the terrace Private safety Parking Clean pool with amazing view and nice bar Very warm staff In each day they organise something for the interested guests (wine tasting, olive oils tasting, Milky Way - in clear nights) Silence and sounds of nature Very close for beautiful beaches (10 minutes by car) and very good restaurants (5-10 minutes by car). You could order also in your room!

Superb

Location is great and very quiet. Amazing view overall. The room was spacious, well decorated and equipped and super clean. It's ideal for couples who want a comfortable but quiet room/house to relax while still being relatively close to a plethora of beaches and small towns for going out for food, drinks and shopping.

Not being able to take a pool drive after 8:00 pm feels like a missed opportunity. I bet it would be amazing if the pool was lit and you were allowed to dive into it up until a bit later (e.g. 10:00 pm). Another minor thing to point out is that, while the room was very well equipped, it feels like some additional minor details would elevate the experience even more, especially considering the price that would generally warrant such details. Details include consumables (shampoo, conditioner, bath and shaving kits), maybe some daily water bottles in the fridge. Mostly friendly feedback.

Nice sunsets

One of the best sunsets you can ever see. The resort is on uphill, meaning the view to the sea (although far) is fantastic. In touch with the nature, very calming, especially in the night. The owners grow various plants there with different smells, so you can enjoy while walking around. There's a nice sized pool which can be used during the day, although it can be cleaned more regularly as there are lots of dirt and dead bugs accumulated. There's a bar as well but unfortunately it wasn't working 90% of the time as there is no bartender yet. Rea (the owner) is covering when she can. She offered us complementary sweets and fruits. She is super nice and helpful with everything you need. Rooms are pretty big, with smart TV, audio system with Bluetooth and fully equipped kitchen. The outside sitting area is beautiful.

Cleaning can be definitely improved. It was super clean when we arrived, however the cleaning service didn't do much on daily basis even-though they were coming everyday. They didn't change towels and bed linen regularly. You have to ask specifically but Rea will sort it out for you. Note down that this is a place in full nature exposure, so expect various insects and lizards to pop-up often. I am not very bothered by it but it does break your relaxation time chasing them away. :) The road is pretty bumpy near the residence, more like off road, so watch out your driving.

Very nice garden, Appartements are new, very clean and you have a beautyful view to the sea. Pool is also amazing. Everything is just wonderful to have some very nice days. Still and quite nature with olive trees around you. Restaurants and beautyful beaches are just around. Owner/stuff is very friendly and helpful.

From the apartment terrace we had a wonderful view down the hill planted with old olive trees ending wit the small town and seahorse. The place is well organized, the apartment clean and has a luxurious feel. The staff is kind and allways willing to help.

We had an amazing experience. Mint Retreat is such an unique place, very calme, beautiful and clean. The houses are well equiped, with a beautiful Terrace and view on the sea. Apostolos, the owner, was really friendly and helpful. Would defintely recommend this accommodation!

A beautiful retreat.

Mint Retreat is incredible - sat between olive groves with views of the coast and Mount Olympus - I'll never forget the sunsets! The accommodation was to an exceptionally high standard, pretty much brand new, and had everything we needed and felt very stylish with lots of wood and exposed stone walls. Appreciated the brand new sound system and the very strong shower. The gardens surrounding the houses have been planted with herbs and flowers, meaning you can sit on the terrace and just listen to the sounds of nature. Owner Apostolos was lovely, delivering us plates of fruit and veg from his garden- and some of their own olive oil, which was exceptional. A magical week, I can't recommend enough!

It was fine for us- but as a warning, you will need to drive to stay here, and it's a bumpy road up to the property. Google Maps has not quite worked out the correct location!
