Steep Creek Retreat

It was a sweet and warm stay, it was cozy but not stuff, felt modern and clean without being too hotel generic. The hosts were super communicative! Loved the birdseed for the birds!! Also spent so much time in front of the fire it warmed the house up beautifully.

Aa the hosts have said the driveway access was a little tricky, but understandable with the location and views we had. If you have mobility challenges be mindful there are steps to access

We had everything we needed at the property. The hosts clearly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and want the best experience for them. The place was well located, cosy, comfortable - it felt like a home away from home. Beds were comfy, couch was too. Good size TV, good wifi, kitchen was well appointed.

Such a beautiful setting for a getaway. We loved that it was private and we felt like we were in a rainforest sanctuary. We are keen birdlife photographers, so you can imagine our excitement when the King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Cockatoos and other bird varieties came to visit us on the outside deck. The coffee machine was amazing and everything was so well set out in the kitchen. A comfy lounge and a nice big screen tv. We also enjoyed all the special little touches, such as supplies in the pantry etc Thank you for a very enjoyable stay and we hope to be back 😄

The house was nice and clean and the hosts were lovely and accommodating.

Honestly we wanted to love it for our wedding day eve and wedding day, however the street was a steep vertical nightmare and the driveway was the same which made it stressful and difficult for bridesmaids, photographer and makeup artist and our photographers car was damaged by either a local or guest for another property which was so upsetting. This property is not suitable for short stays, small cars and impatient or non-confident drivers
