    Check in was seamless. We check in after hours. The lights and heater were on. Feels great after being in the cold the whole day. It is also near most of the vineyards!

    Cottage was well equipped with breakfast provisions. Clean and brightly lit. Kangaroo herds can be seen visiting the cottage in the mornings and evenings.

    Arrived on a delayed red eye flight, had lunch and got caught in a traffic jam so we arrived at slightly past 5pm. No notice from hotel that check in ends 5pm. Further, regular check in area (near carpark) was closed. Someone told us to find the personnel at the cottage area but we couldnt find the check in area as there was no proper signage. Road to the cottage area was likely undergoing maintenance as there was a lot of pot holes. We were already tired out from our flight so all these added to the frustrations of checking in. Then the personnel handling our check in was not friendly and indicated that she was already running late. Then we got to our beautiful cottage and found the bedding not as per our booking request...another irritation. Tried to call the hotel but of course personnel had left for the day. Then tried other numbers only to be told that there is no one to assist us with the bedding request till the next day. Despite the check in issues, the cottage is really lovely, great bathroom and patio. It is quite a drive in to a secluded area where you can see wild kangeroos and birds...we did enjoy our stay though the overall experience was marred by all the initial issues
