De rust, de ruimte, de groene omgeving, bereikbaarheid van de eigenaar!

Sommige potten en pannen waren dringend aan vervanging toe, koken voor 8 personen werd op die manier soms wel een uitdaging :) . De rooster van de buitenbbq was zéér vuil achtergelaten door een vorige huurder!

Stunning location in the heart of nature. This place has a very special energy and we felt welcomed by both the host Mark and the space and nature around us. We hope to visit again soon and share in this wonderful place.

Large property with plenty of outdoor space, our son liked the grounds to run around on. He liked to watch the fish in the pond and play on the pool table with his dad. The living room, bathrooms, bedrooms and bedding looked clean.

I will start by saying I am very particular when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness, even more so since COVID. Unfortunately on arrival the kitchen was not up to a standard I would expect. Rather than complain I chose to clean the sink (was brown instead of white) and fridge, which hadn’t been cleaned out properly after the previous guests with remnants of old food on the shelves. After returning with our shopping we went to unpack only to find the the cupboards were full of previous guests food!! rather than start cleaning out the cupboards too, we decided to keep our packaged food on the worktop and in the fridge. We also noticed at this point that our socks were sticking to the kitchen floor so from then on kept our shoes on during our stay. There is obviously a fly problem at this property because I was shocked to find 3 fly swatters sitting on the worktop. Had I have been told about this problem prior to my booking I would not have booked. We found that flies seemed to multiply in the kitchen over night even when we’d killed all we could (20+) one night and kept doors/windows closed only to find new ones in the morning. We found it very stressful trying to prepare/eat food with flies trying to get to it all the time. As a result we decided to leave early and stay elsewhere.
