8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Loved the location- Lydd is very quiet cottage was detached and although was on owners property, felt private. Parking excellent. Comfortable beds and bedding slept well. Comfy sofa. Very nice bathroom, great shower and underfloor heating.
Wi-Fi was slow and dropped out a lot while watching a film/netflix. No terrestrial TV. Living room and bedroom was quite cold - but owner brought a radiator over which sorted it out.

The location is beautiful and really great with small children (we have a toddler) as the entire property is enclosed. So no wondering outside from the garden areas onto the street. Also it’s only a 10 minute drive from camber sands beach which was really convenient for us.
We could have done with a microwave and we were looking forward to using the bbq but it hadn’t been cleaned from whoever was there before us. So we gave it a miss.
