I've stayed at La Perle on several occasions as it's only a 40-minute drive from Durban North, we even had a family gathering there in June 2026 with 8 ppl, the staff was great, we felt welcomed and treated like family.

Very comfortable, modern and clean room. Host was welcoming when I arrived late at night. Breakfast was excellent!

Although it was not a beach front , the place was relatively close to the beach . There are nearby restaurants which were quite lovely
Very very bad service from the host , our room only got made up after 2pm when we asked why the room wasn’t made by the time we got back we were told we’re the ones that are supposed to request. Imagine at that time all the other rooms were cleaned and made up. This was quite an awful experience.
