We just adored this apartment. The shower was extremely pleasant after a long days cycling. Really loved the sitting room,the comfort and view were the best of our whole trip. Our host was very responsive and left clear instructions. Would highly recommend.
The stairs were tricky,but that is to be expected on a top floor apartment but well worth the effort !

The most beautiful apartment, full of character, quiet and comfortable. Right in the old town, close to shops and restaurants. Easy to find and fantastic value.
Was not a problem for us but there are a lot of steep steps up to the apartment if you have mobility issues.

Location was very good in relation to the main sights in Lucca. Close to the train station. The apartment was spacious with a good bathroom, reasonably comfortable bed, and decent kitchen, though there was no electric jug or kettle which I found strange. Key access was easy. Lots of windows which I liked.
Access was down a dark and dirty alley-way which was a bit spooky at night as I am a solo traveller. Also up about 50 steep stone stairs once inside which was not a particular problem for me as I am fit and travel lightly, but would be an issue for some. The apartment decor was tired and dated, but I guess that’s a taste thing as other reviewers have liked it. The bed linen felt quite old and not fresh. Again that’s a personal thing.
