About this house rental
Very private, peaceful and quiet natural setting. Relax while listening to singing birds or watch the wild-life including manatees in season from the deck overlooking salt creek that is 87 degree warm all year, mineral rich ( 51 minerals ) natural out-flow from nearby ( about 1/2 miles ) Warm Mineral Spring Lake also know as Fountain of Youth.

Great area that offers boating, fishing, golfing, canoeing, bike riding, walking. Atlanta Braves training field and water park nearby.
Walking distance to Warm Mineral Springs ( about 1/2 mile ) and 5 minutes from US 41.
Within 30 minutes drive to fantastic beaches ( Venice Beach, Englewood Beach, Manasota Beach, Siesta Key Beach ), parks, shops and restaurants.

We spent the week in Florida and the house was amazing, they left us a card and bottle of wine. Wish we could have used the pool more it was a bit cold for my husband's liking. It is within 30 min. of some the most beautiful beaches.

House overlooked Msyaaka River, view our back were beautiful. We had some trouble with the plumbing but owners were quick to respond and correct problems. They checked in with us several times to see if problems resolved.

Beautiful newly renovated 2 bedroom. Enjoyed river view and screened pool. Unfortunately pool was not heated. Learned on arrival tap water not useable for drinking or cooking. Needed more seating at kitchen bar counter-only 1 stool provided. Also needed more seating in livin
g room. Only had room for 2.

We arrived after dark to be greeted by an automatic flood light to enter the house. Although sparsely furnished, the home was very clean, updated and comfortable for the two of us, and a third would have fit in as well. We both appreciated the natural tropics feel of the back yard as we watched the tides come and go from the back deck area, The pool was too cool to swim in as it was early March, but we knew that may be the case. The beaches were close by an we visited three of them over the week. Mayakka Pines Golf was a very nice with three 9 hole courses, nicely laid out for various levels of skill. I will not hesitate to stay at this property again!
