Good area to explore several chateaux

The property had a pool though it was deceptive and shared with other accommodation The property was clean and had plenty of kitchen equipment for a two night stop over

Lovely apartment with very kind hosts

Perfect location! The property was within 10 minutes of Chambord and Cheverny and within 3 minutes of Max Voche Chocolatier. The hosts Bruno and Christelle were wonderfully accommodating, especially since our French is terrible. They even made restaurant reservations for us so we had no problems having a lovely meal at a local restaurant. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay and is well decorated. Note the pool is used by all the guests at the gite but it is large and beautifully built.

For awareness, the apartment is an attic apartment with very sloped ceilings. It may be difficult to navigate if you are tall. I’m 5’5” and bumped my head a few times in the hall and the bedrooms.

Exceptional

Stayed only one night. Great spot, ten minutes to Chateau de Chambord. Hosts were lovely. The apartment had everything we could hope for- good space, fast WiFi, great beds, laundry, toys for the kids. Beds were comfortable and breakfast reasonably priced. Exceptionally clean.

There was an automatic light in the hallway that we found pretty annoying at night, but not a huge deal. It was mostly great!

Gîte très confortable sur une très belle propriété près de la forêt avec un espace piscine, très bien équipé et vraiment agréable, un terrain de pétanque, des tables de pique-nique ombragées. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très réactifs. Le gîte est très bien situé, proche de Cheverny. Chambord, et d'autres jolis petits châteaux. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
