We arrived at Heraklion airport late at night.Mades was about a 20min drive so was ideal for what we wanted the apartment was in a quiet location very close to a cute beach. Even though it was late at night the host was contactable with any queries which made check in simple.
The only thing i would say is maybe the host send the check in information a day sooner as we didn’t get the message until the following day after arrival.

La spiaggia di Mades è a due passi e si ha una vista molto bella sul mare dal terrazzino. La camera era pulita e c’era tutto il necessario. Ottimo il parcheggio sotto casa e la posizione comoda per raggiungere in macchina heraklion (25 min) e agia Pelagia (5 min)
L’aria condizionata non funziona molto bene ma non abbiamo patito il caldo. Purtroppo senza macchina si è troppo lontani da tutto quindi, se non per raggiungere la spiaggia sotto casa, è sempre necessario prenderla perché intorno non ci sono nè taverne né market (a parte uno molto piccolo e poco fornito).
