Wonderful family time at this spacious unit

This location is wonderful, it is several apartments in one larger building, the "Moat" was a great unity, it had everything we needed. The place is nicely decorated, everything worked great, it is very spacious, and the view towards the ocean is really amazing! Very close to the beach, and close to Dungarvan for shops and restaurants (10 minutes by car) The hosts stayed in touch with WhatsApp during our stay. Paul met us at the facility and showed us around. There were some unexpected renovations happening in the apartment above us that caused some noise during our stay, Paul met us to explain, was very apologetic and stayed in touch to make sure we were okay with the level of noise. He arranged for us to have bikes so we could ride the Greenway Bike Path that is very close, we loved that ride and the wonderful views. We had a great time at the Moat.

The location and the spaciousness of the apartment and its Cosiness

What hit us first was the smell of the sea. The property was in a wonderful location, at the rear you had an uninterrupted view of the sea. The apartment is outstanding in presentation, so comfortable, welcoming, and well equipped. There were fresh baked scones on the table, butter, jam, milk, tea, coffee, sugar just so you can get started and then do a shopping list. Three fine big bedroom with a double and single bed, two of these bedrooms are en suite and the other is located alongside the main bathroom. We just had a wonderful time there altogether, walking the beach and the greenway, dining in and out, just a wonderful place for our 3 night short October break.

Only bother we had was the weather, we had a small bit of rain, but in October what can you expect. There were 4 of us and the spaciousness of the whole apartment, helped us to ignore the bad weather.

A very comfortable home in a beautiful beachside location .

The Moat is located in a private location overlooking Clonea strand. It is a lovely spacious and comfortable house with fabulous sea views. All mod cons you could possibly need are provided. Eileen & Paul are excellent hosts, easy check-in/check-out, scrumptious homemade scones for us on arrival. Contacted by host during our stay to ensure all comfortable. The beach is a short walk and Dungarvan town is 6km away.

A little slice of heaven !

This is a dream get away location. We can't wait to book again and Eileen is a wonderful host. This was our second visit with 4 adults and 3 children . It is so well kept, spacious and the views are incredible . We hope to have many more stays there in the future !

We went to the beach, park in Dungarvan and when shopping in Dungarvan

I liked the layout. And the apartment is excellent. Plenty of room and the garden is very big and spacious. The kids loved it and there was toys, board games and tennis rackets and balls for the kids. The TV had disney +, Netflix etc. When we came in there were scones on the table. You can walk down to the beach and the Greenway is near by. You can use the facilities in a hotel on the beach and you have a key for it and you don't have to pay extra for the hotel facilities. I would have stayed longer if I could. Love to come back again
