The staff was amazing

This was a very authentic Panamanian experience where Jose and Liz were the most fantastic hosts. The little casitas were a bit dark and a bit worn but very very comfortable and clean. We were thrilled to be greeted by Liz with a hug as if we were long lost relatives. And what a pleasant surprise to be escorted by Jose on our hike and waterfall excursion. The use of their outdoor kitchen served as a nice gathering place with other guests and a chance to compare travel notes and make it feel like a community. We picked this place because of previous reviews noting how warm and engaged the hosts are but even so they exceeded our expectations and loved staying there. And of course as others have stated, location is very convenient and it’s very quiet and peaceful.

Maybe more light in the casita. It’s pretty dark.

Fantastic location in En Vallee. Close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores and recreational activities. Liz and Jose were exceptional hosts and provided great information about the area. They also served a delicious breakfast.

Pillows need an upgrade

Owners were hospitable, helpful. They had been there only 2 plus months, and aware that much needed attention. If you are okay with a rustic, very simple place, this is it. There is an outdoor kitchen area that all guests are welcome to use. We appreciate the simplicity and homey feel, but if you are used to city living and amenities, it will be a difficult stay.

Size of the little apartment was fine - separate bedroom from living area. Furniture was old, but clean. One small table and 2 dining chairs in kitchen/living area. Coffee maker, cups and saucers, sugar supplied. We had brought our own ground coffee. Bed was comfortable. Towels were fresh and newer. Bed linens were clean but worn. hot water only in the shower. In general, the whole place needs upgrading.
