The owner is super helpful and nice, we had a great chat on the morning of my departure.
It is one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest places in town.
The house is about 1.5 km away from the city center, and the room I rented was large and equipped.
WiFi was available and working, which is nice and a must have these days.
The shower head was falling apart in the upstairs bathroom (needs a new one), and the water pressure in the bath was low (maybe because of the shower head).

Great location close to national park I wanted to visit, flexible check in and out, friendly host who also speaks German and French (which is how we conversed). Spacious room, very much part of host’s home. Bed was comfortable.
There was no air conditioning in my room, and it was 32°C but shutters on window meant could be opened at night without insects, so that was okay.

Dora est une hôte gentille, attentionnée et parlant parfaitement français. Sa maison est située dans un endroit calme de Hortobagy. La chambre était confortable chaude et spacieuse. J’y retournerai avec plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour à Hortobagy. Merci pour tout Dora.
