Apartment Mirna

Odlican apartman, cist I uredan. Ljubazni domacini. Udaljenost od plaze svega par minuta, sve preporuke. 10/10.

Divni domacini, usluzni, ljubazni, apartman jako cist I uredan. Imaju I malu policu sa knjigama, slikovnicama I slagalicama za djecu.

Clean and comfortable apartment, very close to the beach.

The apartment is located in a good neighbourhood, very close to the beaches and the grocery store. It is small but nice for a shorter stay for 2 persons. The pictures represent the apartment realistically, the bedroom is comfy and the kitchen and bathroom are practical. The parking spot was convenient for our smaller car. The host Mirna was available for contact. Despite some issues described below we had a pleasant stay. :( [I am writing the negative part here because it cannot fit in the bottom section] We we're disappointed in a few things which are mostly related with hospitality and technical issues. First, there was a problem with the door lock, it was extremely hard to unlock, but possible with sufficient effort. I don't know if it was a new problem, but it should be fixed in the future. Second, the apartment lacked some basic stuff such as hand soap in the bathroom and we couldn't wash our hands after the trip so we went to the store to buy it right after we arrived. Also, we noticed that a sponge for washing the dishes was missing in the kitchen. We contacted the host and kindly asked if she could give us one. Also, since there was no hairdryer in the apartment, we asked her if she can borrow us one just for the evenings (we needed it for 15 min max). [continued below...]

The host said that they forgot to put the sponge and that her mother (living in the apartment next door) will give it to us and also borrow us a hairdryer in the evening after work. So later in the evening, while we were waiting in the apartment for her to come, I randomly looked outside and noticed a sponge on the table in front of the apartment and saw the host's mother on the other side of the house. She told me that she had left the sponge on the table for us and mentioned nothing about the hairdryer. I wasn't sure if she had forgotten about it, so I politely asked again. She answered that she knows about it but she cannot borrow it to us because her son took it and that she will give it to us in the morning. So we waited in the morning for her to come by with a hairdryer because she said she will, but unfortunately we haven't seen her again after that evening or heard anything about the hairdryer that we kindly asked for. It was not fair to tell your guests that you will provide something for them and then ignore it like nothing happened. We expected at least from the host to contact us to say that they will not be able to provide it after all. The last thing that we didn't appreciate was that in the morning of check out, which was until 10am, while we were getting ready to leave, the host suddenly entered the apartment in 9:45 without knocking and entered the kitchen while looking inside the bedroom. She acted surprised and said she thought we already left the apartment which was very odd because our car was still parked in front of the house. We thought that it was quite disturbing and unprofessional to do something like that.
