Deep Breath B&B

The solitude in the forest and the hillside location and its views were absolutely breathtaking, one of the best and most unique accommodation experiences I have had. The staff is also very forthcoming and nice. The rooms are spacious and the bathtub on the veranda is just the cherry on top.

You have to be prepared for a rough way up and down the hill with the car, as it takes both some courage and driving skills to make it up the narrow and steep road up the mountain. Also, better take some easy-to-prepare meals as the kitchen is not necessarily the cleanest - as is to be expected I’m the middle of a jungle, to be honest.

Surrounded by nature with sound of bird chirping, frog, crickets etc days and night; with trees, sun and rain. A place where one can put aside the urban noise and worries and reconcile with one’s soul. I really love the open terrace with very nice view of Shoufeng town far below and sea of cloud early morning. The owners are young, friendly, can be chatty yet very respectful to your own’s space for you to think and do your own stuffs. Yvette’s cooking is excellent. If anyone loves coffee, you will be satisfied with the pour over coffee they prepare for breakfast. They have great taste of music and aesthetics too.

Because the owners respect nature and do not use chemicals, I was bitten badly by insects. But this is expected when i choose to stay here :))
