About this apartment rental
This second floor five bedroom three and a half bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Living room features 65” smart tv with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows. There is a secondary living room for additional tv watching or social gathering.
Bedroom 1: King bed and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower.
Bedroom 2: King bed and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower.
Bedroom 3: King bed with adjacent full bath.
Bedroom 4: twin bed with twin trundle.
Bed area 5: Queen over 2 twins bunk area and a twin daybed.
There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.
Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park.
Enjoy a short walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill.
Free off-street parking for 3 vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests.
Pool Seasonality: The Barracks Pool is open year-round. It is heated on the following date range:
October 1 – December 15
March 1 – May 30
The pool is not and will not be heated from December 15 through March 1 as the air temps are too cool to maintain an adequate swimming temp.
Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

We had a lovely stay in Tybee! The space was clean and bright. The shared pool was so warm and we enjoyed it every day - quick walk to the beach and beds were really comfortable! The host was incredibly accommodating to offer us an early check in and we were delighted to find white noise machines in each sleeping space. We hadn’t realized that the bunk beds and the single bed were not actually in a bedroom with a door but in a nook attached to an open living space. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would book again!

Loved the barracks for an extended family beach vacation! Highly recommend Paige, who delivered crib and beach toys and provided great local advice! We plan to return to this wonderful property. Rendezvous Properties was slow to respond a couple of times prior to arrival, but when they did respond, they allowed slightly earlier check in for a fee. We needed to arrive early for napping toddler.
