Daravand Restaurant & Guest House

A perfect stay in northern Armenia The Daravand is a beautiful place to stay, set in the mountains and surrounded by trees and nature, yet only a few minutes from the centre of Dilijan. I stayed for two nights and loved every moment. It was the perfect base for exploring Dilijan, Haghartsin, Goshavank and the surrounding area. My room was wonderful, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, and breakfast was excellent. The personal attention, spotless cleanliness, distinctive eclectic design and welcoming atmosphere made the guesthouse feel like a cosy country lodge with international standards and a touch of Europe. A special thank you to Arevik, who welcomed me, introduced me to the guesthouse and helped me from the very beginning. She arranged a private driver for me at a very reasonable price. He took me around the area and later drove me to Sevan and Yerevan. I felt exceptionally well looked after throughout my stay. I enjoyed every moment and will always remember this experience. Daravand is an ideal way to discover northern Armenia and enjoy it like a local, while still having the comfort and service of a high standard. I recommend it very, very highly.

The staff was amazing I love it

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und frisch zubereitet, man konnte draußen im sonnigen oder schattigen Hof, je nach Präferenz sitzen. Kein Straßenlärm, da etwas oberhalb gelegen und die Straße eh nur klein war. Das Guesthouse befindet sich etwas außerhalb der Stadt.
