Sleme house

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful wooden house on the hillside, surrounded by vineyards. The veranda offers an amazing view of the mountains and nearby vineyards. The house is very spacious, perfect for family meals and comfortable enough for a big family with its three bedrooms. The atmosphere is peaceful, with only forest and countryside sounds — truly idyllic. Nearby farms with sheep, cows and other animals add to the charm. For a large family it was very practical to have both a dishwasher and a washing machine. The hosts are fantastic — they produce excellent wines from their vineyards. On their farm you can also enjoy a tractor or donkey ride, relax in the swimming pool, and have delicious breakfasts or dinners. The location is great for exploring many interesting places, both well-known and hidden gems: Brežice, Olimje, Kostanjevica, local caves, Čatež with St. Vid, Novo Mesto, Samobor, Zagreb, Kumrovec, and the beautiful Krka river. With the highway you can easily reach further attractions in about 2 hours, such as Vintgar, Bled, Bohinj, Postojna or Škocjanske Caves. Truly a perfect place for a relaxing family holiday in a beautiful region!

The views from the house were superb, as was the appearance, character & quality of it. Very friendly and supportive owners, part of a winery diversified into farm tourism as well.

Tolle Lage, riesig, prima ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, ordentliches Internet, traumhafte Aussicht, sehr nette Besitzer, die auch eine Ökofarm 10 Minuten entfernt betreiben, mit Zimmern und Frühstück sowie Abendessen, das man buchen kann - lohnt sich! Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!
