The lady at the pub was more than helpful.My journey to the pub was delayed.I rang through about 7pm, knowing it closed at 10pm and explained the situation and enquired about food availability.She said she would leave the pizza oven on and if I arrived around closing I could eat the pizza in my room.In the event, I arrived soon after 9pm so was able to eat and drink in the bar. Room was comfortable and quiet, despite the pub being near the A229 dual carriageway - you could hear the traffic in the car park but not in the room.

Real ale in the pub had run out but the keg alternative offered was OK. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. Everyone had gone home by the time I noticed this otherwise I'm sure it would have been remedied!

Easy check-in. Parking nice and near, and free. Comfortable bed. Near to Maidstone for our festival visit.

The location was perfect

The floor was gritty and dirty The toilet seat needed repair

Very inexpensive, friendly and helpful staff, everything worked as it should.

Room was damp with some mould in bathroom and plaster all over the bathroom floor. Unpleasant smell in the room. Towel was damp and smelly however was replaced by a fresh towel on request. My stay was during a heatwave so needed to keep the window open, could hear constant traffic noise
