The host and owner was very kind friendly and generous. There are tons of restaurants nearby to eat at and the room was comfortable and clean it was a short walk to beach as well.

We had 2 rooms on the first floor of the guesthouse with ensuite facilities. The rooms were fairly basic but were clean and comfortable. The owner lived on the ground floor and was helpful. The location was great. The guesthouse was not on the beachfront but was an easy walk to reach the beach areas. There are no restaurant facilities in the Guesthouse, but there were plenty of eating places close-by. There was space to park our minivan. There is plenty to do in Mirrisa itself. We only stayed 2 nights, so we didn't have a lot of time there, but we did manage to squeeze in a whale watching excursion, which was fun. We were lucky enough to see a whale and several dolphins.

Not all rooms have air con, so check the room facilities when booking. Both rooms had ceiling fans.

The room I was assigned to was dark and gloomy. They moved me to a bigger room with windows as that room wasn't booked. The owner was extremely helpful with local information.
