Apartments Obala - Katić

Very attractive hotel apartment complex, with a lovely shady terrace and well kept gardens. Nice pool with plenty of deck chairs. Also, beach frontage with shadey or sunny deck chairs available. Pleasant friendly staff are always available. Parking in the shade was a bonus in this hot weather.

Although the apartment is clean and neat, the kitchen space is very small. If you are doing anything more than boiling the kettle, there is minimal space. Cooking equipment is all provided, but you would need to be an 🐙 octopus to coordinate preparing and cooking a meal. A small work bench would be useful here. Also, the bedroom was quite stuffy and warm in this hot weather- which a pedestal fan would fix. I slept in the lounge room under the air-conditioning for our 2 night stay.

Two of my friends and I stayed at Apartments Obala-Katic and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a few nights' stay. We had originally booked an upstairs apartment, but upon arrival we asked if it would be possible to stay on the ground floor, closer to the swimming pool and the beach. The hosts responded immediately and kindly accommodated our request. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We were treated to homemade wine, which was truly excellent, and delicious cherries from their own orchard. The owner was incredibly kind and pleasant, always ready to help with a smile. Igalo is a charming little town, and staying here made our visit even more enjoyable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Apartments Obala-Katic to anyone visiting the area. The only minor downside was that the road leading to the property is quite narrow, which may be a little challenging if you are driving a larger vehicle. However, this did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay.

One minor thing is it’s a bit of a walk to any restaurant or shops otherwise perfect!!

Well, what can I say about the hotel, the hotel itself is not bad but it is definitely not worth ordering breakfast. The only plus of this hotel is the swimming pool, but there is a beach next to the hotel where old nudists sunbathe, I really do not recommend going here with children if you do not want to shock the children.
