Canterbury International Hotel

The location was the deciding factor in choice of the hotel as it was close to where our son is living..

The cleanness of the room mirrors and the glass were very smeared. There wear two chairs to sit in a the main chair had a broken base. The carpet around the edges could do with a vacuum.

I had a good stay .It was longer than I planned in the end because I became ill with postural vertigo .I kept extending because I was too sick to travel. They looked after me well gave me a good rate on the extra days and at least I was able eat I wasn't well enough to head out for food! I am back home now. Canterbury International is my home away from home. I was able to see my children and grandchildren which was the purpose of my visit. I love the 24hr reception I get a downstairs room near reception. I am 69 it is old school glamorous mirrors silk flowers a piano bar. Happy hour drinks. My brother in law was visiting and we had dinner next door at the Japanese but it was noisy so we returned to the hotel for coffee and a quite chat. I was in room 212 near reception . The room opens onto the patio near the breakfast room and gazebo. There was a wedding on there which they catered easily for o disruption I usually have the buffet breakfast 7 to 9.30am when I stay $25 for adults $15 for children.

Proximity to where I needed to go. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

No pay tv channels. No room service. The lift wasn’t vacuumed the 3 days I was there. It was messy and smelled.
