    The warm welcome when you arrive is what makes this place special. The staff are so kind and the entrance room inviting. I stayed for two nights in "Bay Leaf" which had french doors which opened onto a courtyard on the other side of which was a mosque. The adhan delivered by the meuzzin is always a beautiful thing to listen to, so being so close was a delight. I did wear earplugs overnight because heritage hotels in Georgetown are not in any way soundproof, and this meant I slept through the night. The small bathroom was delightful and the cold water provided in the entrance way was appreciated. I would happily stay here again but definitely recommend earplugs and also request the hotel to update the pillows as they were not that comfortable. Thanks.

    Dear Management, I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent stay. 1. Iron box: There was a burn stain behind the ironing box, which caused my shirt to get stained while ironing. Please check and replace or properly clean the iron box. 2. Room cleaning: We had requested a helper to clean our room, but the request was not attended to. We had to make another request later at evening , which was inconvenient. 3. Cleanliness: As a regular customer, I have noticed that the cleanliness and attention to detail are not at the same standard as during my previous stays. I would appreciate it if more attention could be given to cleanliness and room service. I hope these matters can be looked into and improved, as I have always appreciated the service during my previous stays. Thank you for your attention. Best regards
