I was in Istanbul for a conference, and this place exceeded my expectations. It had everything I needed and, despite being so close to everything, it was surprisingly quiet. It’s also a quick walk to the Istanbul Congress Center. The owner communicates everything clearly and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place.

We felt welcome. Handan and Onur were really welcoming hosts, check-in late at night went smooth. The location was good, too. Just a few minutes to Taksim Square.

We did not expect a basement apartment and would have never booked this accommodation if we would have knew that it is a ground floor apartment with basement bedroom. The basement was humid, there was a dehumidifier but with it turned on it was too loud to sleep. There was constantly people standing or walking directly in front of the window, so curtains had to be closed and we therefore didn't have daylight coming in. Also staying at the ground floor did not feel so safe. Our tip to other travelers: make sure which of the apartments you get. Also there is no balcony.
