Rude staff, unacceptable behavior

I had a confirmed reservation at this hotel, but my experience was shocking and completely unacceptable. I entered the property on foot (the gate was partially open) to check the parking situation. An employee immediately came out and began shouting at me in an aggressive and threatening tone, telling me to leave and that he would call the police — without even giving me a chance to explain that I was a guest with a valid booking. To make matters worse, the next morning the same employee cancelled my reservation, falsely claiming there were no funds on my card — even though I had already stayed the night and paid in full at check-out. I have proof of payment, and this excuse was clearly just a way to cover up the previous mistreatment. This behavior is not just unprofessional, it’s hostile and unethical. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. Guests deserve respect, not intimidation and deception.

Lovely room, well decorated - triple room Beds were comfy and the staff welcoming. We booked to stop on our way back to Normandie after 2 days in Disneyland. We arrived late - receptionist was welcoming and very helpful with our query. The area seems very quiet. Perfect stop over hotel.

The croissants and the baguette were fresh and It was good, there was a lot of choices however not everything was freshly made… I/e the pancakes. The coffee was great too

The pancakes and paperthin walls … A couple had the room next door and they made noise all night long I could not sleep 😣

A very welcome and comfortable stay on a long journey back to Cherbourg port.

The property was very close to the motorway and really convenient for my return journey to Cherbourg port. The entrance to the hotel is via the restaurant however, this wasn’t obvious at first glance as the Sat nav was slightly misleading. You need to go round to the back of the property to gain access. The gates to the property are closed at night and the surrounding area is quiet. The duty manager couldn’t have been more helpful and I was very grateful for his assistance. The restaurant is immediately to the left of the reception desk as you enter the property. They stop serving food at 9:00pm (I didn’t arrive until 8:30), the dinner was piping hot, very tasty and good value for money. The rooms are more than adequate with a very comfortable double bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The choice for breakfast was wide arranging and I was also able to make up a small lunch for later on in my journey. The same duty manager was on at breakfast time as well and again couldn’t have been more helpful. He even allowed me to store my bicycle overnight in their secure store as opposed to leaving it on the bike rack on the rear of the car. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this hotel and restaurant again if I was making a similar journey.

It was slightly confusing trying to find the entrance and the key to my room didn’t work properly. That aside my overall impression of the property was very positive.

Hotel was well situated. Entrance needs an upgrade as it looks shady. Staff need to speak English and be polite as the guy at the reception was a bit rude and cold. Room is small but comfortable enough for short stays only

Comfortable stay

We stayed four nights - the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly. There is a large supermarket close by.

Nobody came to clean the rooms during our stay (maybe we should have asked?) A kettle and fridge in the room would have added to our comfort.

mooie kamer, goed bed, receptie informeerde in een extra mail naar mijn exact aankomstuur om check-in te regelen. geen laadpaal elektrische wagen maar die vind je bij het naastgelegen hotel.

er was waarschijnlijk uitzonderlijk geen warm water om te douchen...

Vraiment très moyen

Parking sécurisé la nuit et la literie est bonne.

Hôtel pas du tout à la hauteur. Petite chambre vieillotte, digne d’un motel des années 80-90; manque de serviettes en chambre, la déco des parties communes est malaisante, câble du sèche cheveux dénudé, brosse à WC parsemée d’excréments… Contact compliqué au téléphone avec l’accueil car mauvaise maîtrise de la langue française.
