The highlight of the holiday flat is the magnificent view of Lago Maggiore, which you can enjoy from the terrace. The flat was very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped. We received a very warm welcome from Patrizia and Luca. Patrizia explained everything about the flat and gave us lots of tips for excursions and restaurants. Well!! What an unbelievable property to stay in. Couldn’t fault anything. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to make a meal. Plenty of towels/tea towels. Lovely fresh bed linen. Spotless bathroom. Convenient laundry to catch up on washing. Only downside to our stay was the rain! It kept us indoors for two days but we were definitely in the right place, it was beautiful. Would stay there again in better weather.

We spend four days in this incredible apartment. Patrizia and Luca made it a very special place and gave us a warm welcome including the finest food and wine. The communication was super friendly and at ease. They provided us with very helpful touristic information and thought of everyday needs as well as all sorts of possibilities (arts, nature, exhibitions etc.). The flat has a fantastic view on the lake and is equipped with everything you could wish for (kitchen equipment, great bathroom, comfortable bed, great balcony, chairs, windshields...). It´s a perfect holiday place!!!

This is a wonderful property and Patrizia and Luca are exceptional hosts. We’ve rented many places in many locations and this is truly among the best. I Faggi Country House is a beautiful, high-quality flat with amazing views high over Lago Maggiore. Everything is spotless and in great working order. The flat is thoughtfully outfitted with everything one could need. So many places require a renter to shop for basics. This flat had everything from nice olive oil and vinegar to coffee and filters (in addition to Keurig cups) to teas, bottled water and more. Patrizia also had some lovely welcome gifts for us upon arrival. When we noted how thoughtful everything was outfitted, she said that, by design, they wanted it to have everything their own home would offer. The house itself is extremely well designed. It’s a gorgeous home and property in a peaceful, natural setting. We enjoyed watching deer in the morning and hearing all of the birdsong including a cuckoo calling every dusk. The view over Lago Maggiore is ever-changing and we left the drapes open at night to fall asleep to lights twinkling across the lakeside villages far below. The drive up from town is winding and sometimes narrow and the driveway is a bit steep, but there’s nothing to worry about after you’ve done it once or twice. We absolutely loved coming back to this lovely, quiet treasure of a place after bustling days around Stresa and this enchanting region. Tutto spettacolare!

Our stay at I Faggi was a truly wonderful experience & Patricia's enthusiastic welcome made us feel like long lost friends. She greeted us with many thoughtful gifts which was so generous of her, unexpected and unique. The accommodation was very tasteful and comfortable and we had everything we could have needed and much more besides. The local supermarket in nearby Gignese might have been small but it is superbly stocked - brilliant! We especially appreciated the breathtaking views and the tranquility at I Faggi and were extremely reluctant to leave. We will return!

We had a nice time at this charming flat. I highly recommend to get there by car. It is a littel bit remote. In the flat you can find everything you need. Kitchen is well equiped, many TV channels and even a german coffee machine. If you go there, go around explore the forest. You will find some old walls of fomer Cottages. Patrizia got us a warm welcome so we feeled like home immediately. Thank you very much!

Patty an Luca are very friendly an generous hosts. A really big surprise was the starter-pack with cheese, wine, water, milk, an a lot things more. The flat is comfortable and thoughtfully equipped and very clean. We did not miss anything and felt licke home. Waht w have enjoyed most was the MILLION DOLLAR VIEW ! During our stay, the apartment was clean, tidy and very bright. The owners (Pat and Luca) are lovely and welcoming. After our arrival from France, Pat received us with little touches (cakes, water, wine). A great pleasure : having lunches on the terrace in front of the lake. It's a really quiet place. It's a rent for activities in the nature (walking for exemple). No doubt, we'll come again ! Sì, ci ritorneremo !

Wonderful, new, well situated home on a mountain above Lago Maggiore. Spectacular views, and a large covered porch affording an ideal setting to enjoy the lake while dining. Patrizia and Nicolo were very kind, warm and a pleasure to meet. We had a group of four, and were completely satitisfied with our stay, and hope to return. The house was also very well appointed to support cooking, and enjoying meals made in the home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful weekend escape cottage overlooking Lago Maggiore!

We arrived horribly late after a missed flight connection but Patrizia and Luca waited for us and showed us round the flat. The flat is spacious, comfortable and comprehensively and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen has everything you would need and it is all new and working perfectly. The flat was scrupulously clean. A special touch was that Patrizia and Luca had provided staple groceries and a few local treats in the fridge and larder so we did not have to go to the supermarket immediately. The flat has splendid views of Lake Maggiore from the living room, the bedroom and the balcony, with more views available from the road above. The nearest supermarket is at Gignese, about ten minutes drive away, and Stresa and the sights of Lake Maggiore are about 15 minutes drive also. We would love to visit the area again and we would definitely stay here if we did. Patrizia and Luca are kind hosts who have thought of everything guests might need.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in der Wohnung. Die Aussicht gleicht einem Gemälde. Alles ist extrem durchdacht und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ein Blick auf den See wie im Kino. Ein kühles Lüftchen am Nachmittag/Abend. Fernsehen braucht man überhaupt nicht! Der immer wieder sich verändernde Blick auf den See ist ganz großes Kino! Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach ein Traum. Das Haus und die Wohnung wurde mit viel Liebe im Detail gebaut und eingerichtet. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse über den Wald auf den Lago Maggiore ist phantastisch. Eine absolut ruhige Idylle abseits von jeglichem Lärm. Morgens im Bett aufwachen, die Vögel zwitschern hören und den Blick auf den Lago Maggiore genießen. Das ist Wohlbefinden auf hohem Niveau. Die Gastgeberin Patrizia ist unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen, auch wenn das Wetter etwas durchwachsen war und wir waren garantiert nicht das letzte Mal in diesem "Kleinod".

Die Wohnung mit der traumhaften Terrasse ist genau wie beschrieben. Patricia und ihr Mann sind enorm freundlich (und in der Regel nur am Wochenende da), sehr hilfsbereit, die Wohnung ist supersauber, toll ausgestattet und die liebenswürdigen Aufmerksamkeiten beim Ankommen für eine erste Mahlzeit (Wasser, Wein, Pasta, Nudelsauce) habe ich so noch nirgendwo erlebt. Wirklich empfehlenswert. Kleiner Tipp am Rande: Wer zur Hauptsaison ins nahegelegene Restaurant La Rampolina möchte: Am besten gleich am Anfang des Aufenthalts reservieren, wir haben es nicht geschafft, einen Platz zu bekommen.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Patty ist super nett und hat viele Extras in der Wohnung. Wer Ruhe und eine tolle Aussicht genießen will, ist hier goldrichtig! Nichts für Nachtschwärmer die gerne abends in der Stadt einen trinken wollen. Auto ist für alles notwendig. Auch bei Hitze kann man es hier gut auf der Terrasse aushalten, da es immer ein paar Grad kühler ist als im Tal und etwas Wind geht Wir kommen gerne wieder!!! :-)

Wir sind, dank der vielen positiven Bewertungen, mit hohen Erwartungen angereist. Diese wurden vor Ort noch übertroffen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr idylisch oberhalb von Stresa. Die Einrichtung zeigt viel Liebe fürs Detail und das nicht am falschen Ende gespart wurde. Im Gegenteil hat uns die Vermieterin großzügig auch mit Lebensmitteln und Snacks für den Start in den Urlaub versorgt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und man hat sich gleich familiär willkommen gefühlt. Wir wurden in alle Besonderheiten der Wohnung eingewiesen und haben auch viele gute Hinweise für Ausflüge in die Region bekommen. Eine dicke Mappen mit Flyern der Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region, Fährfahrplänen etc. ist auch vorhanden. Der Blick vom Berg ist traumhaft und selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist es spannend das Wolkenspiel über dem See zu beobachten. Die Seilbahn ist ein besonderes Highlight. Man hört sie im Haus nicht aber wir haben uns immer gefreut wenn sie vorbeikam und die Passagiere gewunken haben. Sollte es uns wieder zum Lago Maggiore ziehen würden wir jedes Mal wieder bei Patrizia und Luca wohnen wollen!

Das Haus und die Wohnung sind sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Patrizia hat uns herzlich begrüßt und mit allen möglichen Extras versorgt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Blick ist sowieso unbezahlbar. Alleine das Aufwachen bei Sonnenaufgang mit Blick auf den See schon vom Bett aus hat etwas sehr exklusives. Wenn man Ausflüge machen will, gibt es zahllose Ziele, und auch da hat Patrizia eine Fülle an Informationen und Unterlagen.

In dieser Wohnung fühlten wir uns sofort wohl, denn sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, absolut sauber und in vielen Dingen steckt „Liebe zum Detail“. Der kulinarische Willkommensgruss von Patrizia und Luca war sehr großzügig und lecker. Wir genossen die ruhige Lage am Waldrand auf dem Berg mit dem sensationellen Blick auf den See.......morgens das traumhafte Farbenspiel des Sonnenaufgangs und abends die Lichter der umliegenden Städte. Auch Rehe konnte man auf den Wiesen unterhalb des Hauses beobachten.......Freilichtbühne vom Feinsten..... Patrizia und Luca sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, Ausflugstips und Restaurant-Empfehlungen waren genial, außerdem gibt es eine gut sortierte Mappe mit Infomaterial über die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Stresa ist ein guter Ausgangsort für die Erkundung des Lago Maggiore.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön. Sehr ruhig, mit tollem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Unterkunft war bei Ankunft sehr sauber. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass man sich gleich zu Hause fühlt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr herzlich, zuverlässig und unkompliziert. Bei Anreise wurden wir direkt mit Pasta und vielen anderen Leckereien überrascht. Die Gegend hat viel zu bieten. Eine schöne Mischung aus Badeurlaub, wandern, Natur, Kultur und natürlich leckerem Essen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen.

From the moment we arrived we were pampered and cared for by our thoughtful and gracious hosts. Everything you could imagine was provided for by Patrizia and Luca. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony late at night taking in the spectacular view while sipping a glass of Italian wine. You will never forget that view, if you stayed in Patricias lovely house. We had a great time and enjoyed the view and the surroundings a lot. Patricia welcomed us in the perfect way - with some cheese and some ready-to-get-cooked pasta, which was the perfect start of our one week vacation. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect, too. If you want to cook, no problem, the kitchen is very well equipped. If you go there don't forget to visit Luigi Guffanti and try the tasting cheese plate. Also I can recommend a visit to Mottarone a lot! Book that house, you will not regret it.

Eigentlich ist alles zu dieser Ferienwohnung schon in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben: die Einrichtung ist modern und zeitgemäß,es ist picobello sauber, die Lage und der Ausblick sind wirklich herrlich - hier stimmt tatsächlich einfach alles. Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter, die sich bei Ankunft viel Zeit nehmen, um beratend zu helfen und viele Tipps für den Aufenthalt bereithalten. Der Urlaub kann so sofort losgehen. Die vielen kulinarischen Aufmerksamkeiten, mit denen Patrizia und Luca ihre Gäste überraschen, ist einzigartig - wir haben schon viele Urlaube in Ferienwohnungen verbracht, aber so einen gedeckten Tisch bei Ankunft (verschiedene Sorten Gebäck, Pasta, Sauce + Reggiano (30 Monate gereift von 'Luigi Guffanti - der HAMMER), viele Flaschen Wasser, Rotwein, Weißwein usw.) haben wir noch nie erlebt - einfach fantastisch. Nicht zu vergessen die Nespresso-Maschine + 20 Kapseln, das phänomenale Olivenöl und, und, und. Die total leise - fast unbemerkt über das Haus schnurrende Seilbahn (Fahrzeiten von ca. 9:00 Uhr bis ca. 17:00 Uhr) ist immer wieder eine willkommene Abwechslung gewesen, besonders wenn freundliche und winkende Fahrgäste über uns hinwegschwebten. Patrizia und Luca: es war große Klasse in eurem 'I FAGGI' - wir kommen gerne zurück. Liebe Grüße Sabine und Christian
