Typical of Spanish/Italian/Portuguese properties. An unassuming front door, behind which lies a beautiful property and in this case one with a pool. To escape any summer heat. We had the top floor room with a view over the pool. The room was finished to a high standard (as was the entire property) with a great shower. Although it reached 25 during our stay the room remained at a pleasant temp although there is ac if needed. The breakfast area looks onto the garden/pool area and was a lovely place to eat the fantastic breakfast. The location is great for the centre of Porto but has enough distance to avoid the crowds. Bruno the owner/host was very informative in terms of things to do and as well as being a brilliant host, speaks quite a few European languages so wherever you’re from he’ll give information in a language you’ll probably understand. His breakfast were also excellent. I have to end by saying what a great city Porto is. Lots of character, lots to see and do, great food and compared to London great prices. It combines what is great about Rome and Istanbul but is less frantic and more tourist friendly.

A cool, modern place with a shared dining area. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The host was very helpful and friendly, giving us valuable tips about the city, places worth visiting, restaurants, etc. We also got a room upgrade at no extra cost, which was very nice. Good location, within walking distance of Porto's old town. I highly recommend it.

The room was very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable which is very important to me. Our host Bruno made breakfast for us each morning, and on a morning where we left early for a wine tour he made sure we had pastries and coffee to have before we left. He was very kind and gave us a lot of great tips to traveling around Porto and places to visit.
