Large apartment, quiet and a very helpful host. Air con in bedroom and living room. Has a bath. Great hot water.

I would have appreciated a TV as my time there was short between flights. The shower is the bath with a hose from the bath tap, so no real overhead shower .

This is a perfectly nice apartment. It's so close to the airport that from the top of the ridge behind it you can actually look down onto the runways! It's ideal for people who are laying over between flights or who have some interest in this particular suburb of Athens. Spata is a cute little community but a workaday place and nothing special for tourists. The apartment is a two-minute walk from a bus route that connects to the metro and for 1.20 Euro per ticket can get you into downtown Athens in about an hour -- although you'll need some luck. The host was very nice and helped us retrieve a couple of dresses that my wife forgot in the closet.

I chose this location because my family with young children was coming in on a late flight after a long day of travel. The eight-minute shuttle ride from the airport -- really just an ordinary taxi ride -- nonetheless cost 30 Euros. During our stay, we made two roundtrips into downtown Athens via public transport. The shortest one-way leg did indeed take an hour. But the longest took nearly two and a half hours because of construction work. So as my wife says, "time is money," and in retrospect it would have been better to pay the extra 20+ Euros for a taxi from the airport to a place more convenient to downtown. So a booking goof on my part, but no fault of the apartment. The Athens metro is surprisingly nice.

The location is great. Short taxi drive from the airport. The village is nice with some great restaurants and coffee shops. Quiet location

The apartment is nothing like the photos. It was clean enough with fresh bedding. But the apartment is more run down than what the photos show. I was taken by surprise. The bathroom is tiny. Blinds in The kitchen is broken. Random wiring sticking out from the walls. Overall is was fine for one night but I was very very taken aback when we entered the property. It’s really nothing like the photos. Very very basic
