The location - in Annecy by the lake shore, which was the best bit. Our room was very basic but adequate for a one night stay on our way to ski in the Alps. We ate in a bar/restaurant about 15 minutes walk away which was very lively, had excellent beer, but the food was not up to the same standard! We decided against breakfast and stopped at a café outside of Annecy.
It was a very basic room, but adequate, with no character other than being next to the lake.

First of all the staff was very polite and helpful. The location was more or less o.k, all destinations easily accessable.
From our window we looked in the back yard of a restaurant. It was full of rubbish bins and smelling, impossible to open the window. We could hear the people talking in the neighbor rooms, even walking. The inside construction of this hotel is very poor. When you walk up and down in your room even the cupboard is shaking. It is an advantage that we come from Greece, so we are used to earthquakes.
