Very bad

Not worth it! We had two night stay.. very uncomfortable. Felt very claustrophobic, not only because the room was small, but because they have this metal things on the balcony’s. The bed was terrible maters on top of a maters. The tv is old and you can’t really watch nothing else expect some Greek channels. Definitely our last stay there.

A pleasant hotel with very friendly staff and a great breakfast. It’s not centrally located, but the shuttle service makes getting around easy.

One of the rooms had an odd smell, likely from old furniture. The spa area is quite small.

All in all, it was nice.

I liked the cleanliness, everything smelled wonderful everywhere, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was amazing.

I didn’t like the spa. The water in both the pool and the jacuzzi was cold, the hammam was nothing special, and the spa lacks a sauna and proper water heating.

Breakfast was good. Food was fresh and staff - helpful Room - a good size but it was not clean. There was also smell from the kitchen/ food Location - perfect because it is very close to Pyli Axiou which was the main reason to book this hotel

The location, and because it was far from the centre you should not have to pay extra for parking. The carpets in the halls looked old, the hotel needs a freshen up. The bathtub lacked a proper screen so that when you shower the entire bathroom floor became a swimming pool

Nice and calm city break.

Great breakfast selection. Really nice pool area with very good service, drinks and music.

The size of the room seemed to be on the smaller side. This is our second stay in the hotel with an 11 year gap in between. It seems like not many things have changed, especially in the room. It might be time for a few touches to be added. I also think that the pool area restaurant should remain open on Sundays to have another option available.

Used to be Great Hotel but in decline in recent years

They organize weddings on weekends so it gets very loud. We arrived at 15:30 and although check in start at 15:00 the room was not ready so we had go sit and wait for an hour

I would recommend and I would go again, regardless of some imperfections.

The Met is definitely a nice hotel, one that I will not hesitate to book again. The rooms are good, there is balcony, the bathroom is spacious and the breakfast is pretty good. It is a bit far from the city center but you have a shuttle every hour and taxi is not expensive. Rooftop pool is phenomenal even though a bit expensive, same as the bar in the lobby.

Their staff, especially male staff, most of them, should work a bit more on their hospitality. Perhaps for global standards they were OK but I travel to Greece often and I expected it would be same as everywhere else - much better. Since the hotel is not near the center, I think they should have the option of free parking or charge less.

There was no water in the rooms, mini bar is empty and only one employee after 22:00 working… I asked for a toothbrush and water at late hour and they requested me to go down and pick up since there was only one employee working at this shift…. No valet nothing after 22:00…

The staff was more than amazing, the lady at the reception desk was super kind, with a warm smile and made us feel more than welcome! The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly!

At the jacuzzi you need to fix the wood around it and a little more care in general for the wooden parts at the pool area

after 2 previous good stays i won’t go back. huge maintenance & good information needs to be provided to customers

the matras was pretty comfortable but the ventilator system did not work, keep on blowing with noise but never meet the temperature we wanted, very warm was the room.

no information received about that the roof top bar/restaurant won’t be open during our stay even for a drink when we called for the information about the swimming pool outside, spa availability & check in related with covid measurements. if we knew that the roof top is not acceptable(even for a view)we might have cancelled our stay. without roof top no attractions in this hotel. the breakfasts were very minimal.

It was ok but i think there are much better choices for the money.

I liked the facilities and the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and there is also a sky bar from what I've heard, that closed for the winter the same day unfortunately and didn't get a chance to visit. Great for conferences etc.

It's not in the greatest of areas. You need to drive or commute to get to the heart of the city. The rooms i feel are overpriced. I paid a higher price to get a port view, which i did, but it's nothing like what i expected. Lots of buildings and between them the sea. Cranes and ships.

First of all,hotel is old.Nothing like on pictures. Old furnitire,bad and all.Pool on rooftop is quite old and bar.They charged me 50e for dog,ok that is rules of hotel,but you should anounce somewhere that.I payed 300e for one night because I need to check out earlier. There is a lot of better hotels in Thesaloniki.
