The hotel is clean and pretty. Hotel staff are also kind. Breakfast is decent. However, the location of the hotel is far from everything (though they do offer free ride to the city center). One other thing, I asked for a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel. When I arrived at the airport, there were 2 different people that contacted me that they will be my taxi ride. So I called the hotel lobby about it and gave me the phone number of the taxi driver, which was also different. As a solo traveler, it was quite scary since I was not sure which one is real. Turns out, they eventually lead me to one person for the transfer. But it was quite alarming.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall. The atmosphere was lovely, the receptionist were welcoming and the dining room staff were really friendly, always smiling and happy to help. The food was also delicious. But there were a few things that bothered us and negatively affected our experience: 1. When we first got to our room, the safe wasn’t working. We called reception and had to wait a whole hour for maintenance to come. Since we had valuable items with us, we couldn’t leave the room. The guy who came didn’t manage to fix it and told us someone else had to come. We waited another 45 minutes, called again, waited another 20 minutes, and only then someone came and finally fixed it. Altogether, we lost around two hours just waiting for something that should have already been checked by the superviser before we arrived. 2. When we checked in, they told us there was someone available to help with information about places and activities in the area. But every time we wanted to ask something, there was no one at the desk, so in the end, we didn’t get any help at all. 3. There’s no separate elevator for the staff. One of the days, a group arrived and the staff were using guests elevators to bring guests luggage up to their rooms, and we had to wait more than 10 minutes just to get to the lobby. It didn’t feel respectful to the guests, it would make a big difference if the hotel made sure guests get priority. 4. The pool on Sundays is closed in the morning because of kids swimming lessons. That was really frustrating, especially on Sundays, when almost everything in town is closed anyway, and there’s not much to do. On top of that, it was raining heavily that day, so we basically ended up stuck in the lobby doing nothing.
