Good location, close to the tram. Lovely rooms, great sizeable bathroom. Fantastic breakfast! Huge selection. Friendly staff. Nice pool for a dip on floor two. Unfortunately our fridge in the room wasn’t working but we found a shop around the corner selling cold water. Good rate on the parking (underneath the hotel) offering a discount. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion supplied in the rooms.

Excellent breakfast and location. Also, the pool area (if a little busy) was well-maintained and towels were available from reception, after committing to a deposit. The room was quite comfortable.
The room was more expensive than I would have expected, given the size and style. Also, a broken towel rail in the bathroom. Doors to the rooms are heavy and noisy when guests are returning late at night, or leaving early in the morning.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful when we asked to change rooms. We had initially thought we’d booked a different hotel, so we were a little disappointed on arrival, as this one is primarily geared towards conferences and business travellers. The location also felt less ideal for our stay, as we were hoping to be closer to the main sights and local restaurants.
Most of the windows were partially covered by a concrete slab, which made the room feel quite claustrophobic.
The location was a bit out of the way, set in a university district, with limited options for restaurants and coffee shops. It also wasn’t particularly pleasant for walking or exploring.
