About this house rental
Dar Tibibt (the house of the bird). Built in 1911 in the former Jewish quarter of Sid Daoui this house of 230m2 took, after its complete rehabilitation a century later, the name of a small bird, the striolé bunting commonly known in Morocco the Tibibt.
The size of a sparrow, slightly rouxier than the latter, it has a speckled plastron reminiscent of that of the thrush. A couple of these birds live in this house. Their nest is on the inside edge of one of the windows at the top of the stairs leading to the terrace. They live here all year long. You like me, we are a little at home. They go from one room to another, go about their business, raise their brood when the time comes, without being frightened by the presence of humans.
And every morning in the summer, they will enchant you with their vocalises of virtuosos. Do not try to feed them, let alone catch them ... Just accept the fact that you are a little colocation.
As in the traditional Moroccan houses, it is around the patio that is organized Dar Tibibt. After the carved solid cedar door, you will find on your left a particularly well-equipped kitchen, then a dining room, the large Moroccan living room, the TV lounge with its office area and WC.
On the first floor, spread around the corridor that surrounds the central patio, four bedrooms, two of which overlook the public garden of the Moulay Hassan place and all with a private bathroom tadelakt with shower and toilet. Each room has a comfortable double bed (Queen size for two) and one of them has a single bed.
On the second floor, you will have a large terrace with barbecue, dining area and summer kitchen.
Whether you are a couple, a family or a group of friends, Dar Tibibt will amaze and seduce you.

Nous nous attendions à un voyage découverte comme nous le faisions habituellement, nous avons eu une grande surprise
Un mélange de modernité par la connectivité totale du Riad et d'authenticité par les couleurs, les espaces, le décor marocain. Nous avons profité pleinement de ce beau cadeau.

Très bel endroit pour passer des vacances dépaysantes à prix doux si l'on compare aux hôtels dignes d'intérêt. On se sent comme chez soi dans ce riad et mieux encore, ambiance marocaine authentique oblige. L'accueil couleur locale est assuré par Ilham avec un thé à la menthe, et sa disponibilite reste discrète tout au long du séjour, en cas de besoin particulier. Le souk haut en couleurs et riche de produits locaux est à 2 pas, de même que la Cité Portugaise.
