Excellent experience stay

Great experience to live in the old medieval walls. Very comfy, feeling like at home when the apartment is so well equipped. Quick contact with the host.

Be aware that the gate to the old town is very narrow for the car, so you need to close your side mirrors if you don't want to scratch ;) or just park outside the city walls and have a nice walk up the hill.

Prior to our arrival the host sent us a pictorial message on how to enter Štanjel by car, which was very helpful! It was

The apartment was very comfortable; we especially enjoyed the private terrace to watch the beautiful sunsets over the valley. The host was so very generous and very thoughtful and concerned about your comfort. The refrigerator had a variety of food items that were very helpful for our late afternoon arrival and breakfast in the mornings, and the local bottle of wine she had for us was delicious. The water pressure in the shower was great! Štanjel is a quaint, quiet little town; we enjoyed wandering the narrow alleyways admiring the beautiful gardens in front of the homes.

Four days of heaven inside the castle walls were made even more heavenly thanks to this place!

The location was beyond perfect and the private terrace overlooking the 15th century church was magical! The host had the fridge, kitchen & bathroom stocked like a grocery store and his instructions for the parking & the house were helpful & clear. His recommendations were spot on & the speed with which he replied could not have been quicker. Seriously, we spent 4 amazing nights inside the castle walls & didn't want to leave. We can't wait to tell our friends to book this place.... so you better book it asap!

Amazing view of Stanjel's church from the private terrace. Lovely, spacious apartment and the host was very helpful!

Parking is a little bit challenging because of the town's narrow streets and places to eat out within walking distance are in short supply when it's outside of the main season, so plan ahead!

nice location in the middle of old town, sleeping in the old historic house, quiet and peaceful place the surrounding landscape is very nice, and more beautiful historic towns are in the range of 15km local wines available for tasting in several places in the town

it is not the owners fault, but the local church bell will give you unwanted wake up call every day at 6AM

It had everything and more that we needed for a weekend getaway. It is in the center of Štanjel so we did not need our car for the whole weekend.

Loved it!

The place was very clean. The location in the historical centre was charming and I really enjoyed eating meals and drinking wine at the terrace with a view on the church and castle.

Extraordinary location in the middle of an ancient village, very quiet, peaceful and full of history. Don't miss the gardens.

To approach the location by car, you have to pass a very narrow gate to the village. Free parking is only available outside.

Cudovit ambient in dobrodošlica - zakurjen kamin. Napolnjen hladilnik z osnovnimi jestvinami in še več, vino, sadje, prigrizki,... Bili smo navdušeni nad lokacijo in udobjem bivanja. Se bomo prišli.

A perfect stay — peaceful, beautifully equipped house in the very center, with a magical terrace

Hiša je samem centru a hkrati nudi vso zasebnost in tišino, vendar je treba zadnjih nekaj metrov (stopnic) narediti peš. Udobje in oprema hiše je izjemna. Terasa z lučkami je bila ob mraku čarobna.

L’endroit est magique, paisible au calme. La maison est conforme aux photos, très propre et bien équipée. La terrasse rajoute un réel charme. La gentillesse et les petites attentions de l’hôte viennent compléter le confort.

Der Aufenthalt war großartig.

Es war eine sehr nette Unterkunft, die stilvoll eingerichtet war und einen traumhaften Ausblick auf die Kirche von Stanjel hat. Bei Stanjel handelt es sich um einen historischen Ort, der ein sehr gutes Angebot zur Verköstigung hat.

Die Küche könnte eine etwas bessere Ausstattung haben (Schüsseln bzw. Schalen haben wir vermisst). Zudem haben wir leider die Terrasse gesucht, da fehlte leider die Information vom Vermieter.

Apartament położony jest w historycznej części miasta i jest przestronny i komfortowo urządzony. Właściciel wyposażył lodówkę i szafki w zestaw lokalnych i podstawowych produktów spożywczych i higienicznych oraz troszczył się o nas przez cały pobyt(podpowiadał, co warto zwiedzić, jak się gdzieś dostać itp. w razie potrzeby udzielał niezbędnych informacji) W apartamencie znajdują się pralka, zmywarka odkurzacz i żelazko, co nam się przydało przy dłuższym pobycie. Po prostu w pelni wyposażony dom. Na każdym piętrze klimatyzacja. Czuć, że gospodarz kocha podejmować gości Okolica przepiękna do spacerowania, dobre miejsce wypadowe do zwiedzania Słowenii

Przy naszym dłuższym pobycie wyposażenie kuchni mogłoby być pełnejsze( brak czajnika, piekarnika, mikrofali, czy paru garnków lub misek), ale nie wpłynęło to na nasze poczucie komfortu. Większość dnia aktywnie zwiedzaliśmy. Warto wiedzieć, że parkować można kilkaset metrów od domu i że uliczki w tej części są baaardzo wąskie ;)
