Vila Kobdilj 1835 Historic Homestead with Shared Courtyard

What a place. Beautiful villa in the Carso region, redeveloped to high standards while keeping the origonal features. Attention to detail was incredible. The kitchen kept its original look (and even its smokehouse smell) while being equipped with all the pans, chinas and appliances you might possibly need. The patio is fenomenal, with its own separate kitchenette and barbecue. We could not find a flaw or poor taste detail in the whole villa. Congratulation to the owners.

It was rather hot the days we visited, and the mosquitos were a nuisance in the garden.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Vila Kobdilij und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Leidenschaft und Liebe sie diese Unterkunft führen. Egal ob Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants oder Fragen rund um den Aufenthalt, sie waren immer für uns da und haben sich viel Zeit genommen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist einfach traumhaft. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll gestaltet. Man spürt, dass hier viel Wert auf eine angenehme Atmosphäre gelegt wird. Es gibt so viele schöne Details, die den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem machen. Die ruhige Lage lädt zum Entspannen ein und ist gleichzeitig ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die wunderschöne Region zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautifully renovated, combining modern comfort with charming historical character. It had everything our family needed for a relaxing holiday. The hosts were kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Even during the hottest days, the air conditioning worked perfectly. We would happily stay here again!

The location is gorgeous, well decorated and equiped in the common areas. The place is very intimate and we were lucky to have it for ourselves for one day. I think that is probably the best way to enjoy it, booking the whole place with some friends and doing some cooking in the bbq (also try the nice wines from the wine fridge)

Maybe a bit more storage space in the room for clothes
