An okay stay

Having a mini fridge was a real saviour.

Staff wasn't at the desk, so it was hard to locate someone with questions. There was still trash underneath my bed, wasn't checked and cleaned properly. I couldn't lock the door from the inside, which didn't make me feel fully safe. Safe didn't work.

The outdated facilities, very small room, can't open the suitcase well. You have to ring a bell (not your key card) to enter the hotel.

For those needing of a relatively cheap hotel near the station who don't mind noise

Room was okay, bed was comfortable and location was right across the station.

There was a (pretty dreadful) party going on downstairs until 1.00 in the morning and the manager didn't seem to understand that this was not ideal. So the entrance was noisy and also in the hotel it was noisy.

An enjoyable stay overall, okay for business

The staff are wonderful! So friendly and helpful .The entrance, bar and restaurant area are beautifully decorated. Well places for the station. I had a kettle and sachets to make a drink in my room. They were generous with the toiletries and good towels. The furniture in the bedroom was nice. The lift was quick and worked fine. Best thing was breakfast! Great choice and delicious coffee.

A little dated bathroom, too clinical to relax. The bed on one side was very worn and the other almost as if no one has slept there. The tap was loose on the sink, the light switch repeatedly fell off and the bin in the bathroom was also broken.

From the moment you arrive and are greeted by a smiling receptionist you become part of there family. I have stopped in many Dutch hotels through business but the Rosendale is way out in front . The BEST i have experienced . I put in my laundry for cleaning asked how urgent i said not they said ok. Was back within 18 hours put on hangers. To doing eggs how i like them for breakfast. Nothing to fault. Location fantastic right by the station but you cant here the trains.

I do not recommend

First of all I had to wait an hour and a half in front of the reception because the room was not ready! Another reason was the fact that I did not receive what I paid for, the bed was not double but there were two single beds stuck together, one of them having a more worn mattress that was not the same level as the other mattress,I didn't even have a fridge in the room and lastly I paid for the bathroom and got a shower!!! I do not recommend!

Exceptional

Hotel is not up to date but it's in Great location. For someone who need quick easy meal ..Cafeteria Snackpoint.. is recommended Just cross the road that's it . Staff at the lobby are friendly and helpful. Parking site just walk across the road in a minute. Room is nice, neat and clean. Quiet at night I sleep tight in the firm and comfy bed. That's all I need. PERFECT for me.

I actually didnt end up staying at the property, i cut my trip short and returned home that evening.

Cant say i liked any of it.

- no reception staff, had to go across the road to sister property to check in. - same went for the bar/restaurant, across to the other hotel - felt eerie and abandoned, no staff or guests about the building
