WOW! This is the view you've dreamed of...walking into this home you'll feel like you're on a ship! Situated on a mesa with 180 degree ocean views, spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Birds fly at your eye level while whales and dolphins play below. The home is a charming cottage style, newly remodeled primary bathroom, large closets, kitchen stocked with all the appliances. Two bedrooms - primary with a CA King and large kids room with a queen bed and two singles. There is a large TV in the kids room and a small one in the primary. There are hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace and an outdoor shower with hot water. You're in the heart of Santa Barbara, 5 minutes to the harbor or State Street shopping and 10 minutes to Montecito. Numerous golf courses, wine tasting in the beautiful San Ynez Valley and world renowned restaurants are all close. Walk to neighborhood parks. The Santa Barbara Zoo, Stearns Wharf, Oceanfront Skateboard Park are just a few of the numerous activities available for the kids. Back at the house, you'll enjoy the BBQ outside and lounging on the brick patio or the chaises on the new large deck! Perhaps best of all is being lulled to sleep to the sound of crashing waves

Our family rents a lot of properties on VRBO and a few other rental sites too. We all have to trust a lot on others' reviews and on the property description and photos, and Laura's place certainly had positives on all those fronts, but there's obviously no substitute for experiencing the real thing, and we can say her beautiful bungalow exceeded all expectations. Combining old coastal California charm with updated, modern amenities, along with high-quality outdoor furnishings, you couldn't ask for more in a close-in but serene getaway. And of course, the chef's kiss of this property is the view of the Pacific -- sitting on a bluff with NO obstructions, you just can't take your eyes off the ocean and your ears off the soothing crash of waves. Laura was a perfect host, always reachable and hospitable in every way. We strongly recommend this beautiful property!

The view is one of the most spectacular in all of Santa Barbara! Better than the view at the Ritz, with a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. The home is very comfortable (beach/cottage decor) with a brand new updated primary bedroom and bathroom. Extra large and enjoyable outdoor spaces.Highly recommend this property.
