Extremely unpleasant!

The property was overpriced for what it offered. On check out, the host Dimitri was totally aggressive, verbally abused me and called me horrible names because I was not aware that he only accepted cash payment. There was nothing about this in the booking confirmation! It was a terribly stressful situation for me and I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!! This man is not fit to be a host on booking.com

Good location, nice balcony attached to room

Bath with no plug, hand shower unpredictable and difficult to use, WiFi connection not great especially in room. Friendly staff however only saw them at check in and then again at checkout. Facilities outdated. Only cash or bank transfer as payment option. Over priced for what it is.

Amazing studio and Koufonisi

Selini Studios are on really good location, in the center of Chora. The room was spacious, with balcony and refrigerator, but most important is a view from a room. The bathroom was small but there was no problem for 1 person. Thay changed towels in 2 days. Everything is on a walking distance, market, bakery, restaurants. Thanks for your hospitality and see you next time.

Cosy stay in magnificent Koufonissi

Selini studios offered a spacious room, perfectly located in magical Koufonissi!

Initially we thought that the lack of windows would be an issue, but given the nice outdoor terrace, windows were not really necessary!

the location of our room was in the center of Koufonisia, less than 5' walk to the closest supermarket. The room was clean but the cleaning lady came twice in a five days stay. We had a room with a nice view and a balcony. The owners were kind enough to welcome us in the port and take us to our rooms, as well as take us to the port on the day of our departure.

The toilet was in the shower, as the bathroom did not have that much space. The owner asked us to pay only in cash on the final day without informing us before, and they did not provided us with the receipt.

Outstanding hospitality, excellent value

Adorable, incredibly friendly host who couldn't do enough to help us – Eirini made the whole stay as good as it was. She picked us up for free from the port (an added bonuses not advertised on the property listing), took great care of us throughout and even bought me a birthday present! The accommodation was simple, very comfortable and excellent value – we were given a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment even though we had only booked a simple double room. Fantastic location in the centre of the village, close to restaurants, bars etc and only a very short walk from the port, town beach etc. Thoroughly recommended and will absolutely return – thank you so much for everything Eirini, Jasmine and Dimitris, see you again soon! :)

The room was quite big with a nice balcony. The location is in the main street with coffees and bars in Koufonisia which is very convenient.

There was no separate shower in the bathroom, so everything in the bathroom was getting wet after having a shower. There was no mosquito net. The room furniture was outdated.

Find another hotel!

Only the location was somewhat convenient

The room was terrible, to say the least. It was basically a basement with no natural light or soundproofing. The only way for you to have natural light even in the afternoon would be for you to open the main door and let in all kinds of bugs or any nosey neighbours. If you want your privacy, you have to keep the curtains and doors off. The furniture could be claimed by an archaeological museum because it hasn't been renewed in the 21st century, very old, and uncomfortable. The room was smelly, with weird odors coming from the cupboards, wardrobe and bathroom (even before it had been used by us.) This is a typical hotel owner that knows their establishment is on a popular island and won't do anything to upgrade your experience or offer you any sort of comfort. The room is WAY overpriced, I wouldn't have paid 8 euros, let alone 80sth euros a night for this dump. Not to mention the owner's attitude. The ONLY kind staff was the African American cleaning lady.

the room is very small and it's not a studio it's a room from a hotel, no shower - it is merged with the toilets and the size might be 1-2 square meters. for the price of the room, it does not worth it at all

Superb

Location is perfect to walk around the island's chora, enjoy meals and drinks without the need of a car or boat ride. Even though at night the restaurants are full, there is no noise. Close to the beach at the Port, with spectacular waters for days that are too lazy to take any boat to other beaches. Staff is super friendly!! The rooms were cleaned regularly, something that was very important to us because we have three children that make a mess. They provided a cot which was extra appreciated since our youngest daughter is still too young to sleep in a normal bed. The room with garden access gave us the freedom to be outdoors without being affraid of the children falling off the balcony. It has air conditioning which was needed. The owner is very friendly and willing to help out. Gave great recommendations on where to go and what to see. Super friendly with my kids.

The room with a balcony had the shower over the toilet, which floded the bathroom everytime I had a shower and it was a mess. I had to use towels on the floor to stop it from going into the bedroom. Amenities included only hand soap (despite of mentioning shampoo and shower soap).

Should be better

Dimitris (son of the hostess) was quite polite, even offering to pick us from the port when we arrived and giving us plenty of advice when we asked. Despite not having an iron available when we arrived, the hostess provided us with one the following day.

The hostess (probably owning the rooms) was quite rude and abrupt most of the time. When she learned that we'd contacted Booking (to check if the room was the one we'd booked initially or there had been a mismatch) , instead of asking what the reason (for contacting booking) had been, she expressed her disgrace for us contacting booking, saying that she doesn't care if we'll ever come back to her place as she "doesnt need us" and she doesn't care. ! Apart from that, the furniture of the room included basic (bit old, not properly maintained but clean) elements which would not justify such a high price for a 3 bed room.
