Windsor at Westside Resort, Orlando Florida is one of the most popular resort communities in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.
We, Stars Vacation Homes, are a one of many local property management companies that offers a selection of vacation homes for rent in the resort.
This fantastic gated resort was built by Pulte Homes and the resort amenities are operated for the HOA by Castle Group.
Featuring an extraordinary 10,000 sq.ft. clubhouse, lake & pier, zero-entry resort-style pool complete with a waterslide, lazy river, and Kids’ water playground.
The "Tu Casa Tiki bar & fireplace lounge" serves food for poolside dining.
There is also a fitness center, volleyball courts, and a sundry shop and video arcade.
The ideal location offers easy access to the Disney World® theme parks via toll road 429.
Also, close by are many dining and shopping options.
Other Things to Note:
BOOKING YOUR STAY:
You must be 21 years of age or older to book with us. When requested, the guest must provide us with an ID. Your ID and payment method must match. Failure to provide ID will result in the booking being canceled.
BEFORE CHECKING IN:
Attention: it is very important that all guests must provide a complete guest list of first and last names by 5pm EST at least 24 hours before their arrival. The resort will not allow access if the names are not registered.
AMENITIES:
* Pack ’n Plays and high chairs are available upon request.
* Included: fresh linens, 1 bath towel per guest, 1 hand towel per bathroom, bath rugs, hair dryer, and starter supplies (soap, paper goods, 3 trash bags, 1 laundry detergent, 1 dishwasher pod).
* After the starter supplies, guests are responsible for restocking items as needed.
* Not provided: washcloths, salt/pepper, or open food items.
* Washer & dryer available.
MAINTENANCE:
We’re always ready to assist with any maintenance needs—surprises can happen even after our check-in inspection. Please report issues promptly so we can address them quickly; delays may affect our ability to assist during business hours.
POOL AND SPA HEATER (if applicable):
The SPA is not a hot tub. The SPA is connected to the pool and both are heated by the same system. The pool heater is required to heat both areas and there is an additional fee. Please note: Not all properties have a SPA. This information applies only to homes that include a SPA feature.
The heater can take up to *24 to 48 hours to fully heat* the water and will be turned on once the payment has been processed. Please make sure to request pool heating *at least 48 hours prior* to arrival.
The pool is heated to *86°F*. For health and safety reasons, we cannot raise the temperature beyond 86°F.
Just to clarify, the pool and SPA share the same water temperature since they operate on the same system. We understand that “SPA” can sometimes be mistaken for a jacuzzi, but in this case, it is a warm water area without hydromassage jets.
*Important Notes:*
• Reservations of 2 nights are not eligible for pool heater refunds, even in the event of any possible issue, due to the short duration of the stay.
• During periods of extreme cold temperatures (approximately 32°F–40°F), the pool heater will continue working to maintain the set temperature; however, the water may still feel colder. This is due to external weather conditions and heat loss caused by low outdoor temperatures, on this circumstance the water temperature will only warm 20 degrees more than the outside temperature.
These weather-related conditions are not considered a malfunction of the pool heater and therefore do not qualify for a refund.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

We enjoyed our stay, however they may need to hire a more detailed housekeeping service. The master King bed linens were clearly not changed/laundered.

Host was responsive to issues (missing cookware, mail delivery, etc.) and helpful with resort pool issues.
Rooms were spacious and the home is VERY close to the resort (3 minute walk). Nice set-up and home decor. This was our 2nd time staying on Rhodes Street, W@W and we loved it both times.
The free arcades at the resort were a huge hit with our son and once the resort pool heating was fixed, everyone loved the pool and splash pad area. The lazy river was pleasant and warm too. Staff at the resort are lovely.
The only negative compared to our last stay was that the resort gates are left open every night. We felt safer a few years ago with the guardhouse which is no longer in use. That said, we didn't have any issues, and the area certainly feels safe now that it is built up with resorts.
Great stay, great host. We stayed for a full month over the Christmas period. Would stay here again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The home is in a great location, close to many amenities. The waterpark/splash pad was great + the home is quite close, less than a 5 minute walk away. Check in was a breeze and the property manager is quick to answer any questions. Be sure to bring your own pantry items such as garbage bags, paper towels, dish rags, dish soap, cleaning spray etc.
Our only complaint would be the cleanliness of the home. The bathrooms + linens were clean and fresh, however everywhere you looked you could see dust and grime - the home is in dire need of a deep clean. We had friends staying in the same community and it was much, much cleaner.
