Dream Townhome at Windsor at Westside

Overall our stay was good. The size of the home was great for our family. We were there for two weeks so it was nice to have some space and the second living area upstairs was a bonus. The good things: Size of house, spacious living room area, in house laundry facilities, the community pool was a hit with our teenagers, the pool in the backyard was a bonus but it was too cold for us to use this time of year. The things that could be better: the bathrooms upstairs are very dated, the ensuite shower door is about to fall off, the floors were filthy (after a few hours my daughters white socks were black on the bottom) so we mopped them ourselves, we had issues with missing some basic items for the kitchen like bowls and cutlery (but to their credit, the management company responded quickly and went out and bought new stuff and delivered it), the dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes properly and was growing mold in it. Also be aware that there is only one ‘parking spot’ at the back of the house where you parallel park along the walkway/driveway, as do all the neighbours around you. We had issues with people parking in our spot twice. Once it was the next door neighbour who moved his truck but on New Year’s Eve we came back at 1am to a car in our spot and had to knock on neighbours doors and still couldn’t find the person. We had to call security and they came and towed the car. It was a good stay but all in all there were a few areas for improvement

This property is just as pictured. It is a short walk to the resort area which was nice, but we didn't have much time to spend there. It was supplied with plenty of dishes, pans, paper towels and toilet paper. My only suggestion would be to have some information in the home about the area and how the TV system works. We never had to wait to get inside the gate which was nice.

Great location and very quiet and comfortable. WiFi was spotty and entry gates were not working well.

The house was great and we enjoyed the living quarters, fenced in pool, and general location. Our party had small children all under 6 years old so they all very much enjoyed the themed rooms and little details. The frustrations we encountered were: 1. the starter kit (only 2 kitchen trash bags, one dishwasher detergent, 2 toilet paper rolls for each bathroom, and cheap bar soap.) For a house that accommodates larger parties there wasn’t enough supplies to get us through 2 full days there. I don’t think it’s necessary to leave a whole box of anything but there’s not a lot of choices to buy small quantities of detergent or garbage bags so I think it’s silly to ask guests to provide those things. 2. There was a closest door missing a connector to the sliding track so the closet wasn’t really accessible. 3. The master bath shower door fell off its track as well and was difficult to close. 4. The kitchen also didn’t have any basic supplies like salt/pepper, cooking oil, hand soap, etc. The owners were very sweet, property manager was responding to my messages our entire stay, and the clubhouse staff were all very nice. We enjoyed the house for the most part but in comparison to previous rental homes this house fell flat in a few areas.
