Residence La Funtana

Exceptional location, just steps from the town centre: restaurants, nightlife and shops all within walking distance, yet the apartment is surprisingly quiet. Spacious and comfortable. On arrival we found a high chair and a cot ready for our one-year-old daughter. The staff were friendly and acted immediately to meet our needs and requests.

The apartment and amenities feel a bit dated: a general refresh and more comfortable (and quieter) beds would make it perfect.

Etwas wenig Teller/ Tassen, exakt für 5 Personen. Keine Schalen zum Beispiel. Zusammengewürfeltes Geschirr. Für 4 Personen kochen scheint mit der Küchenausstattung schwierig. Ausreichend ausgestattet aber auch nicht mehr.

Good location and comfortable size of the property

There were several things we sadly did not like, and having stayed in many countries and cities we can only compare. There was no hot water until we advised the staff, to which we were told there was no more gas and they could not know until a guest told them. They then replaced it (which is great and appreciated) but sadly we then had either burning hot or cold water, no in between. There is also a dancing place/pub next door which plays music until 3am every night that made it impossible to rest or sleep. I bought ear plugs and even with this my mom could not sleep a lot. It would have been good to know about this in advance. There was a kitchen but only two mugs, one of them broken. No sponge to wash the dishes either. All the doors make noises or catch on the floor. While we informed the staff that the kitchen tap was loose and they said they’ll fix it, we mentioned we likely would not be there in the morning since we were planning to be at the beach. When we returned we found that maintenance entered the flat and fixed it without telling us, while it’s good it was done we would have liked to be told or asked when they visited. The wifi signal is also pretty unstable.
