    Polecam!

Attenzione! In bagno x terra c’è uno scarico.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Corfu – Absolutely Perfect!
We had the most incredible stay at Villa Makrades in Corfu! Nestled in a charming and authentic small Greek mountain village, this villa was the perfect blend of tradition and modern comfort. It’s located just 15–20 minutes by car from Paleokastritsa Beach—undoubtedly one of the best beaches on the island—and provided the peaceful retreat we needed after long, sun-filled days. The villa itself is immaculate, newly renovated with modern finishes, and equipped with lightning-fast 5G internet. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing in the cool evening air, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the stunning mountain scenery. Our host, Aethena, was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. She had cold water and a liter of local wine waiting for us upon arrival, which was a real treat after a long day of traveling. Just 20 meters from the villa, she runs a cozy family taverna where she serves authentic Corfiot food and her own house wine. We ended up dining there every night—it quickly became our favorite place to unwind, meet locals, and enjoy delicious homemade meals. Originally, we booked for 3 nights, but we fell in love with the place so much that we extended our stay by 2 extra nights. It was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Greece. One tip: Make sure to use Google Maps for directions and follow the pinned location—not the address listed on Booking.com—as it can be tricky otherwise. But once you arrive, you'll see that it's more than worth it. We highly recommend Villa Makrades to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and memorable stay in Corfu. We can’t wait to return!

We loved, loved the stay here.
The villa is absolutely fantastic!! The place is modern, very clean and comfortable. The host Athena was awesome. She owns a taverna just about a block away too. The taverna has very good food that is homemade and prepared daily. She makes all of her desserts and food from scratch. The taverna has honey, lotion and other little items that can be purchased. The villa has a very cute courtyard with flowes and trees. There was parking available at a church across the road from the villa. The location was so beautiful up in the mountains. We could have not found a better place to stay. I definitely recommend this villa to anyone.
There is nothing we didn't like.

    Great value for money
The apartment is very cozy, our family party of 3 adults and 1 child had all we needed during our week long stay. It is well equipped and clean. Athina is a wonderful host, nothing was a problem for her and she will help you with whatever you might require. The restaurant a few steps away from the house, which she runs, is excellent. We were there for lunch or dinner almost every day. It has a great homely vibe and adds perfectly to the atmosphere of this sleepy little traditional greek village. This whol experience brings the accommodation to a whole new level. Totally recommended.
The mattrasses are a bit worn, so sleeping on them is not so comfortable. The apartment is a bit damp. We were there at the end of October and it does not get as much sunlight and it was difficult to create some draft. But we could not get our towels dry for example.
