Casa Marinella

Casa Marinella is a wonderful place to stay. Selinunte itself is a charming town that isn't overcrowded with tourists, making it the perfect destination to relax and unwind. It offers beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants—Casa Mia is an absolute must-visit! The location is only part of the experience, though. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. And the hosts? Simply amazing. Warm, kind, and incredibly helpful—they made us feel truly welcome from the very beginning. We even had the swimming pool all to ourselves, which made the peaceful and quiet atmosphere even more special. To top it all off, Selinunte is home to a breathtaking archaeological park. Besides its fascinating historical significance, it also hosts wonderful open-air concerts, making it a fantastic place to enjoy both culture and history. What more could you ask for? If you're planning a trip to Sicily, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Casa Marinella with Giovanni. You won't be disappointed!

Il nostro soggiorno a casa Marinella è stato fantastico! Giovanni e la sua famiglia ci hanno accolti calorosamente e sono stati sempre disponibili (e mai invadenti) aiutandoci a trascorrere al meglio i nostri giorni a Selinunte. La casa è dotata di tutti i comfort, la cucina è super accessoriata e al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato acqua, caffè, vino e anche delle brioche per la colazione. In piscina (sempre pulita) abbiamo trascorso ore di relax e divertimento. Nelle camere da letto ci sono ventilatori a soffitto che non ci hanno mai fatto patire il caldo ed è presente anche un climatizzatore in sala da pranzo. Inoltre ci sono le zanzariere in tutte le finestre. La zona del porto regala splendidi tramonti. Insomma, è stata davvero una vacanza a 5 stelle!

Der Besitzer Goivanni Incerto und sein Sohn Marco waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl in der Unterkunft.

Der Weg zum Strand war viel länger als beschrieben. Den direkten Weg gab es nicht mehr. Man musste einen relativ weiten Umweg von ca. 1.2 km gehen.

This property was exactly what I was looking for; a place to do everything…or nothing. The location was superb! It was only a 10 minute walk to the Selinunte Archeological Park, stores,restaurants and marina. The supermarket was a short 6 min walk and the ocean is a 1/2 block away. Words can’t begin to express the kindness and warmth of the local people. Everyone went out of their way to help when I had a question or need. The hosts, Giovanni and Giuseppina made me feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. They we’re available to give suggestions on restaurants and places to explore. They treated me like family. The yard was a piece of paradise with a built in pool, banana tree, orange tree, and garden with flowers. I will come back!!
