Casa Avi Fauna Nature Guesthouse

My room at Casa Avi Fauna was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained: The windows and doors slide open and shut easily, the shower is large and beautifully tiled, the ceiling fan and a/c work perfectly, and the Wi-Fi is great. The grounds are well-maintained while still looking natural, and there are plenty of birds and monkeys enjoying them. The outdoor kitchen was a big plus for me as I enjoy cooking while enjoying natural surroundings, and there is a French press for coffee, tea, and water heater in the room as well. The pool is wonderful, especially after a morning walk around the neighborhood or on a hot afternoon. The hosts, and their pets, are very pleasant.

The room, with ensuite bathroom, was comfortable and basic. There was a coffee maker in the room which I appreciate. The problem was the fridge to keep my milk was outdoors in the outdoor kitchen area. The natural pool out back was wonderful and surrounded by plants. Bed was comfy, and airconditioner and wifi, always appreciated.

The description that was posted was absolutely outdated and deceiving . There was only 1 bath towel ...no hand towel, no pool towel. The outdoor kitchen could have been nice but, unfortunately, it was quite dirty and I would not have used it in that condition. Also, location is private and tranquil, it is in the mountains and as a new visitor to the area I did not drive those roads after sunset...so I had to retire to my room quite early. But that was by choice.

Sandra est une hôte en or, agréable et amoureuse du pays et de sa préservation. Elle a été de bon conseil tout le long de notre séjour. Le logement est légèrement en retrait ce qui permet du calme et de la tranquillité. Presence de 2 chiens très sociables. On recommande virement.
