Garland Penthouse

Lovely spacious apartment with nice touches, tea and coffee were provided and there was a great selection of TV channels which was a pleasant surprise.

Very comfortable, clean, well appointed and equipped, good location. Good communication with the letting agency.

The 3 flights of stairs needed to reach the apartment which, without a lift, would make it challenging when carrying up luggage, or if you are infirm or elderly. But, I wouldn’t let this prevent me from staying there again.

Lovely large, clean and comfortable property with a good sized drive way for our works vehicles. The location was great for us.

I liked the fact that it was fairly clean and presentable on entry. I wanted to see lots of greens. The back of the building was nice and green. The city centre is short walk distance and it is really nice down there. The mattress and pillows was very good quality.

There was no tea and the milk supplied was all expired. My young child drank it, as she usually does everytime we stay away from home. Thankfully, she did not fall sick with it. It would have been the worst experience ever! The mugs supplied were not washed and was out in the cabinet. That was disgusting! The cleaner could have made use of the dishwasher, which I did and the mugs were clean. I thought the outdoor chairs and table was outside, but it was still in am enclosed space. We travelled flights of stairs to have an outdoor space. It is not the 5star space I had envisioned when I paid and booked for the apartment. I travelled 4flights of stairs with my 7mnths pregnancy with my 7years old. We just needed a break from the busy life of London. Talking about busy life of London, the road is packed with cars. I just about fit my car in the corner of the building. The property can claim 5star if they can remove most of this negative points and include a Netflix and Amazon logins in their package for people chillazing like us. If you ever wake up in the middle of the night or sleep late, you could hear a noise that might keep you up for a bit, but not really a big issue.
