Villa Playa Samui

Wat een prachtige villa en een geweldige ligging op een rustig privé strand. Wij hebben met ons gezin van 6 volwassenen en 3 kinderen 12 dagen heerlijk genoten. Gebruik gemaakt van de ontbijtservice wat echt helemaal perfect was. We zijn zo verwend door Ei en Soe die ook de kamers schoonmaakten en aan onze ontbijt-wensen konden voldoen! Ei regelde ook alles wat je maar wilde, zoals masseuse en manicure in de villa. De ligging is zo fijn! Via een stenen trapje kom je op het strand. Het zwembad is ook heerlijk met ligbedden en zitzakken, een loveseat, een grote ronde tafel met stoelen op het buitenterras. De villa bestaat uit 3 gebouwen en de slaapkamers hebben allemaal uitzicht op zee. De kamers zijn groot, schoon en heel sfeervol ingericht. De 3 grotere slaapkamers hebben een grote (buiten)douche en een ligbad. De 2 kleinere slaapkamers hebben ook een douche. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust en de wasmachine en droger kan je ook gebruiken. De buurt is ook erg leuk maar je hebt wel een auto nodig om naar de winkels en restaurants te gaan. Maar een taxi is ook te regelen. In de buurt is erg veel te doen dus de ligging is ook perfect! Het contact met de eigenaren ging ook goed en snel. Wij geven deze villa een dikke 10 en danken de eigenaren voor hun gastvrijheid en Ei en Soe voor hun inzet en hulp om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken!

It’s stunning , huge and better than the pictures ! Ei and her husband were just so lovely and so caring We were upset to leave them both slightly earlier than planned. The spa option for day 4 from Yvonne was excellent.

Nothing , we were just blessed to have 3 days of lovely weather there but will be back outside of Monsoon season to maximise our break.

The property is in a beautiful location. We basically had the beach to ourselves; but may is also low season. Managers and staff are friendly and professional. They responded very fast to all the technical problems - unfortunately there were many. The design of the rooms , bathrooms is very tasteful . The vibe of the entire property is very elegant and calming. The decorations in the garden and entrance are incredibly beautiful. A zen place over all. We stayed for an entire month , our four grownup children came to visit for half of the stay. We had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped overall .

Although we had a beautiful month in Koh Samui and even in this property , there were a few things we did not expect for a villa in that category. At first sight, there is a wow- effect, however, the condition of the property isn’t good at all, and we needed a lot of maintaining . There were people coming and going , rattling with tool and drills fixing AC’s, water floods, sun shades, doors… This constant need of a crew fixing things, in addition to the coming and going of gardener, pool guy, pest control and staff led to no privacy at all -the very reason we booked a villa not a resort. Over all we did not spend much time in the villa, because we felt uncomfortable chilling by the pool with all these busy workers.

certains équipements vieillissant ou mal entretenus et du coup ça gâche un peu le séjour vu le standing attendu par rapport au prix ( Clim défectueuse dans une chambre, pas d’eau chaude dans l’autre, évier bouché , télévision qui ne fonctionne pas ) et malgré une gouvernante qui se démène, des propriétaires qui sont sans réaction vis à vis de nos problèmes)
